Not including 8459/64/39? For shame!

Perhaps it was not available in Vietnam; you know sometimes LEGO moves in mysterious ways

It was available in VN, and I did have it. I think it was back in 2002 or 2003 something. That set was a real wonder to me back then. I dont have it anymore though, and I no longer like it. I'm all about studless Technic models now.

Holey moley, that Volvo is bloody massive*huh*

I'll second that. 42070 seemed huge when I first built it, I didn't realize the new Volvo was just as large. Any idea how 42114 compares with other huge flagships (e.g. 42055, 42082, 8110)?

You should have invited my reach stacker to your comparison :)

Just found this. Great thread and really makes you view some sets differently. Just started building as an adult again a few months ago and have to prioritize what to try and get a hold of from the older models.

WAIT. What is that big one? What's it's set number? I have NEVER seen it...

I'm sorry for those who love it.

Little wings.

I really like that new one. Might buy it if I find it for cheap.

It's my modded 42009 B model, based on a SANY reach stacker.

42009 B model is unfortunately lacking in many ways.

Delta-wing-ish military-ish aircrafts. But ofc, we all know TLG never produce military-ish aircraft. Among the ones below, one is a race aircraft, one is a fire rescue aircraft, one is a stunt aircraft. No military stuff here, no sir. All resemblances to real aircrafts are purely coincidental.
