Last year we only had leaked figures as well, until about a month before the set released there was finally a rumor about what it’d have.

The anniversary of Jurassic Park is on June 11th, I have a feeling that might be the time they actually start to tease it, with a July release date. But then again, there has been so little info about it that I think there's a good chance it won't come out for another 2 or 3 months either

It pretty much has to come out in July since the D2C release slate also includes the D2C Batmobile (August?), the D2C Disney set (September) and the D2C Star Wars set (October). Beyond that there‘s also rumors of a Creator Expert Harley Davidson...

Maybe they'll either start teasing or release it on June 11th when Jurassic Park turns 26 years old.

I still think mid-June for VIP's and July 1st for everyone else is the most plausible option

Exactly. Even if the alleged Harley Davidson also had a July release, a mid-June VIP release of the JP set would avoid a clash between the two sets, just like with the Upside Down and the Lunar Lander. One could argue that this thought process might work for August or September as well, but I doubt they‘d ever pit two minifig-based licensed D2Cs against one another

I reckon they’re playing this very carefully after everything that happened with The Upside Down. Lego aren’t very happy at the moment

Netflix and Dreamworks just announced a new animated series for 2020. I reckon we will be getting various sets from this show:

DreamWorks Animation today announced Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, an animated action-adventure series, is set to debut globally on Netflix in 2020 as part of an ongoing multi-year agreement with Netflix to produce original animated kids and family programming. Set within the same timeline as the 2015 blockbuster film, Jurassic World, the Netflix original series is inspired by the multi-billion-dollar franchise from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous follows a group of six teenagers chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at a new adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar. But when dinosaurs wreak havoc across the island, the campers are stranded. Unable to reach the outside world, they’ll need to go from strangers to friends to family if they’re going to survive.

Scott Kreamer (Pinky Malinky) and Lane Lueras (Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny) serve as showrunners and executive producers. The series is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, and Colin Trevorrow. Zack Stentz serves as consulting producer.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous builds on a successful five-year relationship between DreamWorks Animation and Netflix that has seen 18 original series debut on the service, including the Tales of Arcadia trilogy from Guillermo del Toro, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Spirit Riding Free, and The Boss Baby: Back in Business. Following NBCUniversal’s acquisition of the studio, DreamWorks Animation and Netflix expanded their relationship to include first looks at animated series based on Universal Pictures properties as well as original and acquired IP. It could happen but I don't think they're doing it. I'd say they're either continueing their own Jurassic theme or they will finally tackle some of the original movies

They’ll probably do sets based on that. The chances of classic movie stuff is very slim, no ones doing merch for it

They had the full range of the new sets in the store at Legoland Windsor today. They all look great, my 4 year old son had his Christmas money and struggled to pick between the Triceratops, Baryonyx and Mech T-Rex.

Considering the Stranger Things set only leaked once and was covered up decently quickly there is also a chance it doesn't leak at all and we have to wait for an official announcement from lego

This morning I saw on insta a photo of a Jurassic park set with the entrance gate, a brick built T-Rex and six minifigures. About 1000+ pieces. But it’s gone now. Is this the d2c set? The T-Rex looked really good. The gate had offices at the backside for the Minifigs.
