[Era II - Challenge II - Cat B1] Then They Found Something

Recommended Posts

Guided by what Rum'Or had told them, the mercenaries moved on deeper into the island.

They stopped on a small mountain top, bedazzled by what had come into their sight:

"What on earth is that?" Swash Buckler called out.

"Looks like an ancient pyramid to me", Scarlett Pontellinova replied.

"According to our friend here to the right, this might be dangerous", Clara Brickinson added.

"But what is this black thing on top of it?" Ram Brandt asked.

"We'll find out", Swash Buckler said. "We'll find out".

(to be continued)

(Thanks for watching)

You and your clouds...

That is an excellent use of forced-perspective. The whole scene is nicely balanced, and the forest of micro-trees looks good around the pyramid.

But... but... no monkeys?! Oh, wait, I forgot they're all busy mining bananarite. Or eating it, or whatever. :monkey:

The story is intriguing, as usual. Keep it up.

Great job with the forced perspective! The mountain in the background and the micro-pyramid are very nice. I’m looking forward for the next part!

Very nice forced perspective Captain!  I really like the different sizes of palm trees you've got there!

I'm always a sucker for a good forced perspective MOC, and this is excellent! My favorite detail is the transition in how the distant trees are built. Super!

Strange link... but ok. :pir_laugh2:

I am also quite happy with how my idea turned out.  Monkeys will sure come up next.   There are some monkeys in the MOC but maybe they are to small to be seen.

I love how you scale the palm trees down as they get more distant. As others have said, you're really good at this forced perspective business - great job!
