MOC of Ninjago Royal Palace & Temple - Updated 1/21

Recommended Posts

My wife and daughter are currently working on a playable (which turned into a much larger) moc of the Ninjago Royal Palace and the Temple of Resurrection. The palace is mostly done, but alot of work is needed for the inside throne room area (hasn't stopped daughter from playing with it). Right now the main palace area is completed, gate house to come shortly.

The ornate detailing is wonderful and the temple of resurrection is especially lovely.  keep up the good work.

Some progress has been made... the temple turned out a bit larger so we are going to add another 32 studs in the center of the garden to set it back futher... which means we need way more 1x2 trans light blue tiles....

How does this topic not have more comments?! This is looking incredible!

Wonderful job on the detailing - you really nailed the tiny decorations on the Royal Palace!

Master Builder party is a very nice touch!

No idea if it's an original idea or not, but I like how you handled the waterfalls! Those sliding door pieces blend in nicely! And the water is well done also!

More updates, added another garden/water section to the center and raised up the platform for the main palace by two studs.

Your diorama is looking really detailed and pretty! You've clearly put a lot of effort into this (especially the 1x2 trans tiles for water:laugh:)

This is some fantastic work! The gazebo on the bank of the river is spectacular in its own right, but the entirety of it is coming along wonderful! Awesome stuff!

More progress, smaller side palace build, mini-unikitty guardian statues and some more water and cobblestone. We will pull out the statues a bit more when we have a larger front courtyard area so they don't disappear in the gray wall. Photos should be sized correctly now.

Thanks for all the kudos, we hauled the moc over to a fundraiser at a local library this past weekend and decked it out with lots of minifigs. Roof battles and Dareth leading a tour group on the side. We will be bring it to Atlanta Brick Con this upcoming weekend and possible Alabama Brick Fair in January.

Some updates complete, side courtyards with trees and statues have been added and work continues on the interior of the main palace. During work we have to take off the roof corners as they have become super prone to falling off.

Below are the four statues for the courtyards... they are suppose to be a turtle, tiger, dragon and phoenix/crane.

We will be brining this MOC to Brick Fair Alabama in January

These are amazing! They're quite recognizable, Although, with the tail like that, the tiger looks more like monkey :D In any case, my favorite has to be the dragon - it's incredibly well made.
