For my last project I am a lot further with the big model and hope you can quickly give an update with photos. I am also a bit further from the same ship with the construction set with the instructions that I do together with Hans Tolhuisen and we are well over half and already get a good shape. Almost all parts are almost pre-packed for the set. Here is a teaser of the set so far.?

My PC is purring like a kitten for almost two days straight now., and I'm not even half way..

Rendering takes a lot of time... And when I say a lot , I mean a LOT.

The hull of this brick eating 1,75 meter long ships gets shape and is build in one peace and must send her far away, that i have to build here extreme strong. So i made a backbone in side the ship that now can stand already more the 250 kg, without any glue.

I hope that i can bring the lower deck together with the superstructure later this week.

Beautiful. i recognize the ship :) ... amazing build. Question: on the long deck between steering house and helipad the shipyard showed a black boat before GC was sold to the client.

Your model shows a salon or room at that place, is that a modification by the client? Or is this something like GC2? :) Can't wait to see your model finished.

Finally yesterday afternoon the missing stones came in after more than 3 weeks of waiting and which were crucial to be able to continue. so I made a lot of progression on the big model last night and today. The set of the same ship also shoots up. The large model that is 1.75 meters long is a brick-eating monster and the hull weighs almost 23 kg.

That is one big MF...

Excellent!

You probably need a forklift when this model is done.

It's looking very impressive Edwin, struggling to imagine the size of it when finished.

Thank you @LucyCol and i have the hole construction and oversize in my head where i my to go on with her, but maybe this will help a little.

Made some progress today and fit the superstructure on the now closed deck to the stern, also made the propellers drive shafts.

Your models can be admired endlessly! :)

Thanks for the great compliment @seaman.

Finally the superstructure has closed the wedding with the hull and the lighting is now running on 220v instead of battery boxes. I am now also at height with the top deck and I could fit the wheelhouse if I had calculated everything correctly. Fortunately, everything fits perfectly and I can start to close all missing pieces and the last details.

Since we now know what the ship looks like, mostly, what kind of ship is this and what it's called (for the us less informed)?

Plus, I can't wait to see all the finishing details.

Thanks @pagicence and hope she is ready soon, because i build only in commission, that i have live with the rules what my clients give me to make something public. The only thing i can say that's is a former Support Superyacht Vessel that got a complete refit.

Today the owner's agent with his assistant came to look at the big model to see the progress and go through some things for the set. they had already seen the set two months ago but the big model was not, then only some pictures of the construction and were extremely happy how everything looks and works. They were even so happy that my model in detail was even better than the model they had received from the shipyard last week, where there were a few big mistakes with all the changes the real ship had received. I am happy, the client is even happier and am a bit further and the wheelhouse has now also closed the wedding with the hull and connected to the power supply, also the bullwark is for the most part ready and started the last things to closed her.
JaapTechnic has delivered the great stickers and certainly the chrome stickers are great in very thick quality, but are very difficult to stick.

I didn't realize that 1:40 and 1:100 were the same ship until now. I'm loving the details so far; rails, floor boards, the little stairs, door handles, the anchor... and those little lights are so beautiful.

The bow is now completely finished on both sides and still needs to close the stern and make some details as railing, stairs and handlebar and port light. From the weekend I want to make the transport box and next week is the delivery of the large model. Am well on the set of the same ship, but still has some work before it is delivered.

To make it even more difficult, I was told tonight that they are already on the coming Monday and have to deliver the big model on Sunday. So my days are already long. but now do 18 hours a day and must also keep two companies running. Tonight fortunately all details such as the last lighting, railings, outside steering equipment, antennas (unfortunately the top part is not a Lego solution but had to be really diluted from the riged hose) and is made with a carbon 2mm round rod that fits in the rigid hoose , stairs to the bow floor and some formwork and shutters. Now the stern is still closing and the transport crate and Sunday is the delivery.
