well Lloyd didn't get a shooter either, cause they were just for Ninjas trapped in the first realm.

But I do think they rather not sell Nya focussed sets, since Ninjago has boys as main target group. Ironic since Ninjago has become quite Feminist. Nya's whole character arc includes very intelligent feministic topics.

Still, if they don't give us a propper Nya dragon before Ninjago ends, I'd be really sad..

So, there's a picture of what seems like a new Fire Temple set on instagram . . but I think it's fake; it looks totally unchanged from the 2011 version.

So apparently we will get two more sets for the next wave namely the Samurai Mech ( 70665 ) along with the Monastery of Spinjitzu. ( 70670 )

Evergreen doesn't mean that it's exempt from ever being cancelled. Bionicle was considered an evergreen theme at one point, and we know how that turned out.

And finally the price for 70679 The Ultra  Dragon - $84,99

Also note that there are 8 missing sets between 70670 and 70679.

Personally I don't really want the Samurai Mech remade. I've modified the original so it's more show accurate anyways. I don't want to be tempted to buy a newer version.

Plus Zane's Ice vehicle from the serpentine wave was too small already. He needs a better version.

If that's the case, you probably won't be seeing those in the winter. The set names revealed so far are already enough for a large wave, and with TLM2 coming out in January I don't think TLG would go much bigger than that.

If you want to get super technical, there were Castle sets released this year. Now I’m not even going to attempt to convince you that this year’s NK sets have even a smidgen of Castle-y theming, because they don’t, but in Lego’s mind, it’s a Castle theme. Therefore, Castle is still an evergreen, and it was even confirmed a while ago that regular Castle was just taking a breather during NK’s run. I can’t be the only one around here who’s positive, right?

Well, Ninja was a subtheme of Castle, and is related to Ninjago, so.. does that technically even if Ninjago was canceled, if there was a new Castle theme, it would technically still be going?
