Thought with the year almost over its time to revise what's missing from the saga. Hopefully with the next three years free of new movies some of these missing characters can be quickly knocked off the list.

PREQUEL TRILOGY
The Phantom Menace
Boss Nass, C-3PO (TPM), Naboo Royal Guard, Padme Amidala (Theed Battle), Ric Olie, Rune Haako, Shmi Skywalker
Secondary:
Additional Podracers, Chancellor Valorum, Daultay Dofine, Eopie, Fode & Beed, Handmaiden, Kitster, Nute Gunray (TPM), Queen Amidala (any variant), Sabe, Senator Palpatine, Sio Bibble, Tey How

...

Another thanks for this listing, I hope many of these are actually possible.

So, does anyone think it’s likely Lego’s going to do new sets for Rebels anytime soon? Because I’m working on a cross-theme MOC that I’d really like Hera Syndulla and Grand Admiral Thrawn for (the rest of the Rebels crew are less elusive, except Zeb and I don’t really care about him), but they’re . . tricky to get on the aftermarket and I’m wondering if I should bite the bullet and order a couple of knockoff figures on eBay.

Bail Organa (ROTS), Baron Papanoida, Commander Bacara, Commander Bly, Emperor Palpatine (Formation of the Empire), Galactic Marine, Lushros Dofine, Oddball, Polis Massan, Senate Guard, Utai

I may want to add that the RotS Senate Guard is different from the TPM and AotC. I would like to see both versions, but if there is only one I prefer the TPM style because of the open faced helmet.

And yes, the Galatic Marines are long overdue and considering Lego has the necessary moulds I am surprised we did not get them by now.

I thought Lego's CGI version was a good compromise between the two. The fin was closer to ROTS, but having the open face makes it easy to switch between TPM/AOTC style with a printed face or ROTS version with a plain black head. If the Senate Guard could only be done once, that would be how I'd like to see it.

Still I'll update the list to include both versions.

Since we know there will be a lack of films for a few years after this December, I am hoping that Lego will continue the poly-bag mini-figs as gifts with purchase that they used for The Last Jedi, Rogue One and Solo (mudtrooper, DJ, etc.)

Now, they seem to have stopped for the time being, with none released in 2019.  That said, there is the leak of the Ben Kenobi 20th Anniversary polybag which has not been officially leaked.  It has a stand, albeit one to match with the other 20th Anniversary sets, not the previous polybags.

Here are some minis I think could be great ones for the polybag series, as they are less likely to make it into regular sets:

  • Mon Mothma
  • Red Leader (Battle of Scarif & Yavin)
  • Gold Leader (Battle of Scarif & Yavin)
  • Owen Lars (Young)
  • Beru Lars (Young)
  • Owen Lars (Old)
  • Beru Lars (Old)
  • Captain Typho (Naboo Security)
  • Ponda Baba
  • Dr. Evizan
  • Garindan

I am sure I will think of more later.

Who do you think should be added?

Dr Evazan and Ponda Baba would never appear as polybags, particularly Ponda since he'd need a new Aqualish mold. 99% certainty those characters are being held back for an eventual Cantina set, whether a midrange playset one as seen in the past several years or a comprehensive large release. The Cantina is one of the last iconic OT locations to never be really *properly* depicted in LEGO form and any release of it with even as few as half a dozen unique but iconic aliens would be an instant buy for collectors. The very thought of an official LEGO minifigure of Snaggletooth or Brainiac is goosebump-inducing.

By contrast, young Beru and young Owen would be perfect for polybags since there's really not a great set that could include them, given LEGO's disdain for any AOTC content (let alone boring Tatooine stuff revolving around the death of poor Shmi). But I think they'll be passed up as well. The fact we've never gotten an old Beru is nuts, especially after 3 Sandcrawlers and 2 Owens.

Gold Leader has been released Several times too so I can’t see that one being a poly either. He’s in the UCS Y-Wing as an updated figure anyway.

What about a Caminoan? No one wants them? One of the most neglected characters in the Lego SW world in my view.

I want a Kaminoan! I grew up in the prequel era and personally, although I will admit they are not perfect, I don't get all the hate. I recently bought the new 20th Anniversary Slave 1, but I would really have loved if it had been a new version of Jango's to go on my display with Obi-Wan's jedi starfighter, a set which could easily include a Kaminoan. I would also love a new Bounty Hunter chase with the speeders and Zam. Captain Typho, Shmi and Beru would also be appreciated and a ROTS Padme (or in fact any other Padme, preferably not using Jyn's face) but I won't hold my breath.

Episode 3 501st please!! Cant believe LEGO hasn't done that sort of a battle pack yet

I hope for new clones as well. The question is whether or not they will get dual-molded helmets. To me, especially the current phase 2 helmets are pretty good. They may benefit from a new mold, or it may not. At least, I'm not happy with the new stormtrooper helmet, and I had 75262 to give a pass.

So, what do you think of the 501st's changed appearance? Would you like to see them in Lego (at the expanse of other sets) or rather not?

These are just the Clones under Rex's command during the Siege of Mandalore. At the same time, the rest of the 501st was deployed to Coruscant (Jedi Temple) under Commander Appo.

They have screen time as they are pictured. So the question remains whether you would like to see them in Lego or if you'd prefer to see other clones.

My point is that this is not an either/or situation. These Clones could be included in a set (or sets) based on the Siege of Mandalore, and the standard 501st Clones can appear in a battlepack (or Republic Gunship, or AT-TE, etc). There is no reason why we cannot have both.

We can't have both at no costs (measured in alternative sets TLG could have released). The question remains if people would like to see them as minifigs or rather not.

What about a battlepack with: Standard 501st Clone (2x), SoM Clone (1x), 501st AT-RT Driver (or ARF Trooper) (1x)?

It'd be nice to get the J:FO cast in the future some how, for the most part we have existing the pieces for the minifigures, aside from maybe Greez's head, the Second Sister's helmet, maybe Merrin's hairpiece and definitely BD-1. The Ninth Sister would be interesting to see, if they go with a big fig or make parts that make her look taller.

After watching the Mandalorian I desperately need a

Baby Yoda

fig.

Hopefully he's included along with the Mando in a Razorcrest set.

Not only you! I don't think they will be able to produce one, because if it's in scale to a minifig it can't be bigger than a 1x1x1 brick. A brickhead on the other hand works.

I suspect they'll just go for the preexisting baby fig size or maybe do a custom bit of plastic like Salacious Crumb/Jabba's son.
