If we are getting only one set, I hope it includes Wonder Woman (golden outfit), Steve, Cheetah (it seems she won't transform but rather wear a cheetah-stylised outfit) and Maxwell Lord.

She will transform but they probably didn't want to show it just now because of Cats

Dude this trailer is something else: think on the possibilities: Golden armor, training outfit, 80's figures :drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:

I hope they will make a brand new hairpiece with a detachable diadem

Brickset has the box distribution up for the dc cmf series and no chase figures it seems which I think is very good

Also considering the set will be around $40. I could easily see it including 4 or more figures

Star Girl has braces/retainer on her alternate face, which is a nice detail. Is this the first time they have appeared on a minifigure face? I was sold on this series the day it was leaked, but seeing them reviewed has made me even happier. I agree that Sinestro could use a new hair piece, but honestly the quality of the series is just gravy.

First time on a flesh head I believe. Yellow figures have had the CMF pizza delivery boy and The Lego Movie M-Tron and Blacktron fan figures ( a boy and a girl).

For as fun as this may look, I still would've rather had a sequel set during WWII instead, just to see Wonder Woman kick Nazi butt!

Nice one, thank you. I gave up on the CMF a while ago to give Lego all my money in a different way. The same reason I only have a few TLM sets.

@Mat099 jeez that thing just mops the floor with the Tumbler! Still going to find a way to get the GWP I think.

@Digger of Bricks I never really got why they backdated her debut for the film. I’m guessing if they had the plot for WW84 lined up then it makes the time without Steve seem longer, but when nearly everyone who was a superhero in WW2 debuted in the Golden Age it just seems a bit weird. As long as they don’t do the era we all try and forget about, we’ll be fine.

Still about two months before the DC CMF drops, right?

And are they $5/each as rumored?

No they have been showing up in stores too. They “officially” drop January 1st but should be in stores before then

Even though I don't live in the USA, those prices are out of control. There is no way a minifigure 'blind' bag should cost $5. These and others in the future will probably be on clearance really soon.

True, 4$ for one minifigure is already pretty expensive but 5 dollars or more is just insane

If you don't need the box and the sign with the big Sticker on it you can do a rebrick. At the moment just one piece (it's used twice) is exclusive and from what i have read Lego never makes new colors or pieces for such giveaways. That means the piece should be used soon in regular sets.

$5 vs $4 just doesn’t seem like a huge difference to me. I can’t really see what the big deal is, but that’s just me.

$5 is half the price of a small set for only 1 minifigure. Furthermore, it makes a big difference when you try to collect the entire wave, get multiples of a figure you like, or buy the entire box. That $1 difference adds up super quick.

It still doesn’t register as a lot to me, and I still don’t see how $1 crosses it over from “pretty expensive” to “insane”. But again, that’s just me. It’s just a matter of opinion.

Think of $10 sets: if it's a regular set, it usually includes two minifigures and a 50pcs+ build. If it's a pod or spinner type set, it includes one or two minifigs, and a big specialised piece(s), and a bunch of decent accessories.

If you really think about it, additional details on two minifigures (arm printing, dual molding) are worth as much as 50+ pieces (sometimes with big specialised pieces).

Fortunately, I do not live in America, but the price increase is insane. Paying $4 for a blind bag is already a big price for one minifig.

For $20, you could buy 5 minifigure blind bags. Now for the same price, you can buy only 4 of them.

Let's take Wizarding World series as an example (we are getting a second one in 2020). One could buy the whole first series (22 minifigs) for $88 (that's a big price), but now, if one would like to have whole second series (let's say that it also has 22 minifigs), he would have to pay $110. That's $22 (you could buy a $20 set for that).

If you buy a few minifigures, it's not a big increase to you. Just a few dollars. But if you buy the whole series - better, a whole box (series x3), that's a big increase.

Also, there's nothing worth in this series the $1 increase. It has only a few new moulds, the prints aren't also quite better than the last few series.

Completely agreed. I was planning on getting the whole wave but will probably not do so because of the price increase. It's just too much for no reason

See this is where art is subjective. To me the only WW figure that had outstanding printing was Trelawney. Everything else was alright. All of these - to me in any case - have excellent printing and are among of the best DC figs we have. Do I have issue with the price hike, a little, for those in the States a whole Dollar seems unnecessary. It’s part of this very old fashioned mindset about prices where you can only work in half fractions. They could put the price up by 25 cents and I think people would swallow it a little easier. At the end of the day none of us have to buy any of it, but they have us over a barrel because a) we do have to buy it, it’s Lego and b) the price of custom figs really is astronomical. There is no way I could justify buying the same amount of custom figures as there are in this set. My wife would insert them into me.

Just seen on Brickset that the minifigures are going to be £3.50 in the UK! That's a bit of a surprise as I thought it was only changing in America. Luckily everyone's comments on here have given me a bit of perspective so I'm just glad there hasn't been as much of a price increase as in the states.

Still hopefully it will help me be selective as I usually have a problem where everyone time I go for a big shop I'll pick up a minifigure or two. My definite buys are Superman, Batman and Aquaman but I have the feeling I might be in the mood for an impulse purchase at some point and shell out for Wonder Woman, Huntress and maybe Joker too!

Oh, wow. My local Targets are still overflowing with CMF19. Hopefully those clear out during the holidays.

So far it looks like the price isn't changing here in the Netherlands. If it's still 4 euro I'll pick up the entire series, if it's 5 I'll only get the ones I want most

It has to have something to do with the license. I can't imagine that Lego thinks a $1 price bump for a CMF series that isn't as wanted as let's say Wizarding World, Disney and probably even a regular CMF series is a good idea. I do agree that the printing on all the figures is very good and most of them look great, but the character selection isn't the best (generally speaking, I'm sure a lot of people like that we get random variants of heroes).

The local Lego store here has only bought 40 cases for sale while they normally get 100+ and there isn't even a price bump here. The interest is just very low. I wonder what that and the extra dollar does in the US for this series.
