Do you draw these by hand on paper, or create them digitally in that style?

I drew a template and made photocopies.  Then I draw the comic with pencil, then Sharpie, and scan it in.  There's a teensy bit of cleanup done digitally sometimes but for the most part I keep it as easy as possible.

I met one of LEGO's artists on another forum and he's been giving me tips here and there, so hopefully you see improvement over time!

I used to draw and scan (non-LEGO) comics the way you describe. I miss that, sometimes.

It's a great way to spend a work day, especially since I have access to unlimited sharpies at my office.

Sort of, insofar as she's based on the LEGO minifigure of Juno Eclipse.  A lot of the SRG story is fluff I created around my collection, and I have a lot of Star Wars stuff.  So half the comic is Star Wars names and characters but in new roles.
