I have seen some references to Stud.io being an Ldraw wrapper. Is it possible to load in custom parts as well? I want to load in some large curves from Brick Tracks.

Yes, there’s a CustomParts folder where you can copy your own parts.

There are two important messages about it on the dedicated forum:

Never tried myself….

I have asked the same question in the first thread you linked and received no answer. Just wanted to see if anyone here has any more information on how to do it.

Ok I have found my own answer.

On MacOS go in Applications/Stud.io/LDraw Create a folder called "Custom Parts" then a sub folder called "Parts" Add the parts here. They will show up as "Custom Parts" in the Palette selection area.
