Daithid Posted June 5, 2018 Solving a housing shortage has resulted in the use of relatively cheap parts to build pretty ugly high rise flats. Oxymoron or not, here's a case in point. Yes, some careless minifig did spill a bucket of orange paint but in a fairly careful rectangularish way... This Chinese has seen better days... Sadly most of these retail units have shut down because of another MOC in the works... Essential tracksuit wearing minifig to add realism... TV's not working for some reason... Dammit SKY! LEGO, apparently powered by Allinol, whatever that is... Pop off the chimneys to access the insides but trust me, not a good idea...
LM71Blackbird Posted June 5, 2018 Nice looking build! Simple but well constructed and has some cool details!
pinioncorp Posted June 6, 2018 I will definitely be stealing borrowing that roller door design. Great build all round, with a realistic albeit repetitive appearance, just like real life. Great job.
LegoModularFan Posted June 6, 2018 (edited) Honestly, the building maybe isn't be the most beautiful building I've ever seen (which is normal) but that roller door design is so amazing that I just needed to write a comment! I really like the rundown look as well. Keep up the good work! Edited June 8, 2018 by LegoModularFan
Legopinion Posted June 6, 2018 It looks very nice. The more you enter the details, the more you enjoy.
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted June 6, 2018 Oh what a beautiful MOC ...I love the modern look of the street (the guy and the broken bottle) ...but please remove the bumps on the road: I hate them
Littleworlds Posted June 6, 2018 You made something "ugly", but did it in such a lovely way that it looks really good. You don't see such gritty realism stuff much in Lego. Great "character study" of a building!
