[MOC] Imperial Patrol Speeder - Solo : A Star Wars Story

Recommended Posts

Hi !

Here is my latest creation, a small one : the Imperial Patrol Speeder from the last Star Wars movie : Solo.
The aim was to build a narrower speeder than the battlepack one. Also, I made it to be quite swooshable, with more details and able to fit a minifig.
Here is some renders of the side and rear. I just have to wait for a small Bricklink order to show you what it looks like in real bricks !

Looks great, you did an excellent job! You captured the scale better then the official set, which is pretty beefy.  How does the pilot fit in? Are the minifig neck brackets to stabilize the speeder? I'm looking forward to seeing it in real bricks! :)

Actually the pilot is hold by this part :

And the neck brackets are here to simulate the pedal

Very nice. I just went to see the movie. I do think the official version was pretty good it was a little wide and maybe a stud or two long. Can’t wait to how it looks in real bricks. I also may have to try my hand At this. How did you do the internal structure?

A-ha! That's perfect for holding the pilot. And great thought on the pedals, man!

Great moc, much more reasonable scale than the battlepack one! Not personally a massive fan of the pedals (mostly because minifigs can't reach them at all), however it is nice attention to detail. The screwdriver element for the blaster is really nice.

I really would to build this as its quite excellent.

When you build it with physical bricks could you take a couple pics showing off its internal structure for reverse engineering?

Looking good! I'd still recommend removing the brackets or doing something else, they're pretty far forward and stand out a lot to me. It's much nicer in the brick than the official set though.

Great design although I'm not sure if it's like this is the movie though
