[MOC] Midi-scale Lando’s Millennium Falcon from SOLO

Here’s my midi-scale version of the Millennium Falcon from SOLO, based on the 7778 Midi-scale Millennium Falcon from 2009. It’s mostly true to the build and aesthetic of TLG’s original midi-scale Falcon, though I made a few special modifications myself.

What a hunk of junk!  Er... wait, that's later in the timeline.  

I think it looks great.  Captures all the key elements well, and nice to see the front detach feature included.  Nice build.

This is really fantastic! 

The cockpit's passage into the ship looks really smooth, excellent work.

I will say I think the dark blue looks a little too muted in Lego, though the normal blue is perhaps too bright.

Really impressed with the choices of parts: that engine turbine piece makes a great docking port on either side. 

Is that custom sticker work on the cockpit piece?

I love the blue coil piece being used as the engine.
