I wonder if my 11 year old self saw Baby Deltic prowl the line in 1981 when I lived in Lincolnshire for a brief Spring... I certainly fell for the British Rail system's livery an modern Intercity 125 as they swooshed through town, but I had an affinity for the working diesels. Nicely chosen build.
