Event countdown 2018

Recommended Posts

I know, you all have been waiting for it.

Well, at least  one has been waiting for it, so here I start the countdown for the last 10 days to the event 2018 in Billund, Denmark.

This year the countdown will be once again combined with a little challenge. This time it's all about parts.
Parts, which have a special relation to the days left.
Tell us what a relation might be and you receive 1 point.
If you manage to figure out what I thought of, you'll get 3 points.

Prices at the end: None besides my never ending esteem.

Let's start with a no-brainer:

And the first three points are gone.

Right guess knowledge, Quarry!

There is obviously a "9" printed on that 1x1 tile  (I am not very creative in the morning...)

EDIT: I just realized that you mean Homer and not the tile

As I said I don't funktion in the morning.

Next guess:Homer consists of 9 individuale parts. (1 head, 1 torso, 2 Arms, 2 hands, 2 legs, 1 hip)

My guess too was 9 parts of Homer's body. But Skalldyr was first, so if it's correct, it's his score.

There is a "9" over the right ear of the Homer minifig.

Or so you might think. It is actually a "G" - whereas the left side has an "M". They are the initials of the creator Matt Groening.

Homer Simpson (CMFs) is the ninth CMFs minifigure which is discarded into your minifigures’ bin.

Or rather, Homer Simpson is your ninth all-time favourite LEGO CMFs minifigure for the parts speciality.

@Skalldyr didn't you learn anything from the countdown a couple of years ago?! No splitting of the minifigs!

If I can understand your french after nine beers, you pass the challenge! The beer is already in the fridge :D

Well I thought for someone who collects monochrome minifigures that would be a category to think in.
