[COR-FB] Lieutenant Joshua's Presentation

Recommended Posts

Small Educational: Footprint 256 studs in Arlinsport

Lieutenant Joshua, acting commander, has popped along to the headquarters of the Royal Society of Natural Philosophy in Arlinsport to give a report on his finding in the past expedition in Celestia.

Gathered to his small lecture was Colonel Dirk Allcock, Lord Spud, and a Corrington member of the army (Joshua was never any good at remembering names).

"Here we have the position of the falls, the coordinates were worked out by myself" Joshua stated as he nervously showed the mark on the map, the pointing stick shaking as he did so.

"Sorry to interrupt" said Spud "You're a Lieutenant now sir, are you not? Where are your white epaulettes?"

"Oh... erm, they're in the post, Lord Spud. Honest. Anyway, where was I?"

Lieutenant Joshua had also made a scale model of Joshua falls out of small inter-connecting bricks to show the exact dimensions of the small waterfall.

That's a good one, with a fine microwaterfall and I like the floor.

But I'm sorry (after asking @Ayrlego for my own presentation) Allcock is not available, still deep into Celestia jungle

Hmm, I didn't realise. Maybe Lieutenant Joshua gave the presentation to an impersonator :look:

Perhaps there is more than one Dirk Allcock in the Corrington Navy.  For all we know, it could be as common a name as our John Smith. :classic:

He is, but hopefully not for much longer... perhaps this is just a little way in the future, although not sure when Allcock will find time to make it to Arlinsport next! :pir-laugh:

It's a lovely scene and that micro of the waterfalls is very nicely done! Welcome to the Society!

Celestia, 23rd May 618

Dear Lieutenant Joshua

It is with great pleasure I welcome you as a fellow in the Royal Society of Natural Philosophy. Your excellent work during the expeditions on Celestia has been very well received by your fellow members of the Royal Society. It is always nice to see another military man who also has a love for the natural sciences. I look forward to following your career and continuing to follow your scientific work.

Kind regards,

Sir Dirk Allcock
