Dorayaki Posted April 18, 2018 (edited) Alright, where should I start? I've been leaving this place for quite a time, so I lost track with some of the old posts. But anyway, I think it might rather be simpler to put all things together in one thread. So I choose to slowly restart in this post from now on. Thanks to the help with a new local print provider, the newer redesigns has a better chance to improve (my decal skill is still awful ). As a new start, I begin with the original franchise with the minidoll lineup Friends, which just began a series of reboot design in this year. WhiteFang Posted April 18, 2018 Brilliant. Simply beautiful. I am glad to see your enthusiasm didn’t fade away. These are real bunch of nice customs in LEGO Friends minifigures context.

Very huge honor to have your fast reply sir, possibly because the earlier figures of bad decals you saw were very memorable. I sorta admit it's a dark age for having to handle my other works and interests. It is really nice to find a local print studio so that I can spare some time to go back here for a while. Digger of Bricks Posted April 18, 2018 (edited) Dang, these characters all look perfect translated into a minifigure context! Will any other characters from other Minidoll themes be making a similar transition? Edited April 18, 2018 by Digger of Bricks
Robert8 Posted April 18, 2018 Glad to see you're back These are amazing. My favs are Olivia and Mia
MAB Posted April 18, 2018 You have translated these very nicely into minifigures. But looking at them and comparing them to the real Friends figures, I completely understand why they went down the minidoll route to attract girls that were not playing with minifigure based sets. There's no wrong, tho. Minidolls have their own charm. On 4/19/2018 at 2:22 AM, Robert8 said: Glad to see you're back These are amazing. My favs are Olivia and Mia Thanx, hope the Olivia fix well. BaneShake Posted July 7, 2018 These are already so much more appealing. I hate how TLG decided to make a separate human design just to creep into the "Polly Pocket" tiny doll market. We would've gotten some fun new designs from the Super Hero Girls line, and a guaranteed purchase or two out of me. Instead, I bought nothing. This, however, proves you can have the same fun style in a traditional minifigure. Keep up the good work!
x105Black Posted July 7, 2018 Great job! These all look fantastic. So much better than their minidoll counterparts. And I love that you're getting them printed! That's so cool! If Elves looked like this, I would have spent so much more money on LEGO in the last few years!
