Took an hour or so, also fixed some things:

  • In front of the door, a 4210857 collided with the door. I changed it to a 32557 (What a odd looking brick.. :sceptic:)
  • The rear 3x11 curved panel could not be attached like that. Added 2 bushed pins instead.
  • Don't mean to step on @Imanol BB, but I made a test seat:
  •
  • LB-X18%20-%20exp%20-%20JO%20Seat'.png
  • I could not flex the door soft axle..
  • Got some ideas for lights (Just ideas.

Hope this helps @Jeroen Ottens.

LDD File (Doubled body..)

The link is for the partslist? Do you also have the link to the LDD?

Do you use LDD? If you don't, I could make some more renders from different angles of the shifter area. Let me know.

I do not, so it will be great to have some renders. Thanks!

Fixed file. Jeroen, would you mind if I helped with bodywork?

Idea for rear arch (Left out so you could do your version.)

Those two thin liftarms forming window of the door aren’t fixed, so that may be an issue...

And it seems @Aventador2004 that you have used an older version of @Offroadcreat1ons door. The possible issue above is present in both versions though.

Ok, I can fix the doors easy.

Thanks for the copying.

Chime in on the bodywork if you like, no problem. It will be a bit daunty to keep track of all versions when we are editing all at the same time. So maybe it is an idea that you send your versions to me? That way I can keep one version which I will share on the forum when the next significant update is available.

Looking at your picture I would not keep your edits though for two reasons:
1) The 12L flex axles are connected to the door, but when that opens that 6L beam will not be there anymore.
2) I personally don't like the 3x11 curved panel you used. It makes the trunk much blockier, the flexaxle softens that shape again, but by use the long tapered panels that effect also achieved.

Okay,

  • 1, It seems I missed that, I also will fix the new door.
  • 2, now that I look again, It does look nicer how you have it.

I will now fix the door.

A list of things for the bodywork to do:

- fixate the panels above the front wheels
- raise & fixate the 5x7 panels behind the rear wheels
- add some interesting details to the rear window
- add rearlights
- soften the wheelwell of the rearwheels

I fixed that. Also the doors still collide with the body when opened. I did some work on them to make them open further, but this could still be improved. I moved the rotation forward and the side mirror backwards. I also lifted the left front fender slightly. Here is the LXF-file.

In my LXF, i made a temp solution, it only holds the backside, allowing the middle to open, but securing the sides slightly. Currently 1254 parts.

Just built the suspentions guys, I must say I am impresed about the build quality, defenetly you all are around here :)

@Jeroen Ottens you should make the hood fixed, now it is just floating. Also,I haven't started the build of the chassi, but the door hige is wayy to biggg, can we make it smaller, I mean, there is barely room for the steering wheel (which btw i almost figured it out :) ).

Fairly eh IMO. That angle is very sharp and the lights are too big.

Ok, good to have some feedback.

May I suggest a 2 color combo. Maybe black or some other accent color for the side skirts, lower part of the front bumper and mirrors... or something like that.

Do you have enough pieces to do so? I don't want you to break that amazing Audi

(Sorry for offtopic, but damn that's a nice Audi)

Ah, that's my mistake. I found the link and will try to put it in (tomorrow, today's my daughter's birthday). Might have to remove some bodywork parts. Also part of the gearbox has moved to the back, so that could be a small issue too.

Here are a few. I left the 90 degree limiter in and the 2x2 brick, but please feel free to change that too. Even the 5x7 frame around these parts is not essential. Only the position of the shift axle should not be changed frivolously. Finally, the main drive axle could also run to the front one stud higher, without U-joints. With U-joints it would require more support than shown in the renders. Hope this helps.
