"Platoon, march!"

The recruits began to march with their squad leaders. It was hot, but regardless of that they wished for the day when they would earn their shakos. The squad leaders instead hoped they would soon earn their epaulettes. On the other hand, the commanding officer just wished they all would learn fast enough, before they would be needed to defend the colony.

The worker had an other view:

Every day I'm shovelling;

Shovelling, shovelling;

 

Do it fast;

All the wenches, I've got loads of cash;

I'm shovelling coal, all I can have;

Never gonna stop, no coal is bad;

Every day I'm shovelling...;

 

On the inside General Du Pont was trying to show the new foundry ovens for some officials from Le Bellan. Breshauns mayor, Darlin Sisnera, was very impressed with how fast the new arsenal had been constructed and he was very interested in the new type of furnaces.

"So what is the capacity of this organisation?"

"Well", answered Du Pont, "we still don't really know. We need more matrices as the cannonballs don't cool of fast enough. We still have only lit one furnace. The matrices we have here are for 18-pounders, but we have also tried out a few 36-pounders. You can see them in those crates."

"So pretty many in the long run then! You know, Breshaun could need a few of those furnaces..."

"I'll make sure you can get the plans with you on your way back. Should we continue our tour?"

What a fine build indeed ... I aswell like the coal and ovens.  The troops are a nice touch as well

The inside is a bit empty feeling but overall you have excellent texture a nice attention to detail.

The company marching by is a good touch!

Nice foundry! Dark red is a fitting colour for this kind of building and the fully tiled floor looks good. And it's comforting to see all these blue soldiers marching, they'll sure keep us safe.

I like the clean look and functionality of the build. The dark red works great with the light and dark greys, and the marching soldiers outside are a nice and characterful detail.

 

I agree with Forresto though: the interior looks a bit too clean and almost "clinical". Still, I like the depiction of some production steps.

 

This is of course typical for the warmongers of Oleon, preparing their warmachine to rain fire and fury upon the rest of the Brick Seas. They have to be stopped!

I really like this build. The walls and pathway are well detailed, and the coal chutes are really nicely done (for a moment I even thought that they factory floor was at a lower level than the exterior). The furnace designs are impressive, too. 

I would agree that the floor does look rather sparse, but perhaps that can be explained away by it being a new facility that is being reviewed by the brass (can't have things messy for them!).

Nice furnace robinnilsson403! I like the overall design of your build, and the marching column is a nice addition, not to mention the shoveling man singing!
