What Are Your Favorite Licensed MOCs?

Recommended Posts

What are your favorite fan creations based upon licensed properties that Lego has/had produced sets for?

Whether it be DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Doctor Who, Disney, Harry Potter, Nickelodeon, Voltron, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, Cartoon Network, or any other franchise, share and discuss your favorite creations from some of your favorite AFOL builders you've found from around the web!

Please, no promotion of your own creations, and please keep your selection limited to franchises/licenses Lego has, or already had, merchandise partnerships with.

I probably have to say Star Wars. Not anything particular in my mind, but huge dioramas of hoth, Falcon Interior... Just a lot of awesome stuff from AFOLs!

Well, Star Wars is a theme that there's a whole other subforum here devoted to, so you should discuss it over there instead. Also, please highlight specific creations, as opposed to simply saying which theme/franchise you like fan creations based upon.

Technically, this mech is an X-Men creation, even though it's an original design.

That's pretty darn cute! I was checking out some of his other stuff, much of it which I've never seen before. Here's his model of Baxmax from Big Hero 6, which is rather studful, but has some nicely constructed arms!

It's not quite spot on if you closely compare it to its source material, but here's a great brick built rendition of Rapunzel's tower from Disney's 2010 film Tangled by Kloou.

Those two are both extraordinary! *oh2*

But, I do now remember that latter one, as it was submitted as an Ideas project that did reach the 10K threshold, but was rejected in the review.

Republic City by N-11 Ordo

Hey, I've never seen a Legend of Korra creation before, and it's of Republic City! Not bad!

While I've never watched the TV show, I one time picked up a artwork book for it at the library awhile ago, since it had a lot of fascinating concept art of Republic City. I like how the city architecturally is a fusion of both 1920's American Art Deco and Oriental architecture.
