That’s great work; I’ve been building the new UCS Y Wing today as a bit of light relief! Need to catch up a bit now.

Some work in progress pictures!
All power functions are running, I have fixed a few small details, and made a few changes!
At the moment I am working on a third floor in the interior!

Great work, plus excellent photos too. I’m working on the front interior but I need to order more parts as I’m short some how. I look forward to seeing how you attach the first forward side panels.

Thanks!

Which ones do you mean? These ones?

There should be no problems, I have replaced all 1x2 plates by 1x1!

Yeah, I’m now doing the same, they just seem to prevent the alignment of the sides against the frame.  Did you notice the use of the the plate hinge on both the side panel and the main part of the body? Seem to get in the way of each other?

Yes, I noticed that! I think that's just a "careless mistake"!
I'm pretty sure it has to be 1 hinge plate at the top and one at the bottom!
There are a few small "mistakes" in the instruction!

Example:

The step where you fill up the little gap at the sidewall is missing at one side!

gallery_8754_6681_180805.jpg

Also missing at one side are this 1x2 tiles!

gallery_8754_6681_57617.jpg

other side

gallery_8754_6681_9843.jpg

so just add the tiles!

Here you have to change the posotion of the plates like it's shown in the picture (you need the cutout for the wire in the back!)! Otherwise the caterpillar drive is mounted incorrectly!
