LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 23, 2018 (edited) Hi everyone, I want to share my version of 7755 with lights The locomotive is lower than the original using a strip of plate instead of gray bricks to promote the right height compared to others locomotives and 12 volt wagons The power supply circuit takes current from the motor, the current is rectified with a diode bridge and two resistors protect the leds to make them work at the correct voltage Lights off... ...and lights on! Enjoy the pictures and vides Edited February 23, 2018 by LEGO Train 12 Volts
Paperinik77pk Posted February 23, 2018 Ooooooh very nice mod!!! Pics are so clean anddefined...and let me say the pallets under the boxes are a very fine touch!!!
Carrera124 Posted February 23, 2018 Well done! I also thought that 7755 is a brick too high. The lowering using grey plates instead of bricks really makes it fit better to all other 12v trains.
ColletArrow Posted February 23, 2018 Nice work! I definitely prefer your lower version. How do the lights look in the dark, or when the loco is running on it's own? How effective are the LEDs at actually lighting the track ahead?

Thanks Paperink, for the pictures I've change my last mobile with a new S7, about the pallet the color is from 2000 but pretty good also for the 80's 7 hours ago, Carrera124 said: The lowering using grey plates instead of bricks really makes it fit better to all other 12v trains. I agree, the grey strip is the best compromise! 7 hours ago, ColletArrow said: How do the lights look in the dark, or when the loco is running on it's own? The led illuminate better than the light brick, but the prism reduce the capacity to illuminate the path
Brickviller V2 Posted February 24, 2018 Nicely done! As a kid I loved drooling over the pictures of this train, with these lights it's even more impressive! I'm a conformist!

Toastie Posted February 26, 2018 Hi Emanuele, very nice work! I always admire your soldering skills. The light is really very bright - I guess I have to copy your approach if you don't mind. All the best! Thorsten
