Indeed, it's one of the most realistic looking Lego waters I've ever seen. I think he used something like these:

There will be a long wait I'm afraid as promoting my Lego Ideas Traction Engine is taking up so much of my time. I have got plans to build a new Modular follow up to my Post Office though so I'm hoping to get cracking on that soon. :classic:

The train roof is similar to what I did on my Trackside Loft roof over the tracks. I used notched hinged bricks, covered by tiles, on either end but the idea is the same. I filled in the spaces with the 1x8 (and 1x2) plates modified with door rail.
