"Glad you're alive. We're, naturally, somewhere below Eubric. Don't know when you were taken, but things have taken a turn for the worse above ground. The original Veterans arrived and made us close up shop, then they killed the Dragon Lord and either rounded up or ousted all the Houses. We thought maybe you'd have answers." Boomingham glances around at the roots. "I don't know exactly what's happening, but one of the demons is involved. Calls herself Rosier? I think she thought you maybe knew too much - I'd hold her responsible for you being here. And for the Veterans, truth told - seems too strange to be a coincidence."

"That is grave news. It sounds as if I've been out of it for quite a while. A  few months ago I began to have visions of a forest, Dastan I believe. Something troubling was brewing there and then I received dreams of Euflear, the Fey One, she was in torment or sorrow of some kind. The visions then turned to nightmares, deep underground, of twisting roots and vines... I remember the portal within the Shrine of Fabula Sibylla was acting strangely as if something from the other side was interfering with the magical connection to Azzurat. I went late one night to investigate it and that was the last thing that I remember."

Would getting you "high" help you remember more? But, I got ask "Now What?" We look this cave over more or something else.

"Your fiend the demon mentioned Rosier. If the archdemon of lust and beguilement is involved, it wouldn't surprise me that the presence of her dark druid forces is corrupting the surrounding area. But to what end, the divine has yet to reveal to me..."

At that moment the party can hear the sound of nearly a dozen creatures moving down the hall coming their way rapidly.

What I am trying to say is most "oracles" have to be high as a kite (You do have kites?) To get any visions. I guess they (the oracles) don't want people know exactly how the visions come about. Well I guess it is better than someone that saying 10,000 things and when 5 things are right they claim they are psychic.

We could just kill them. My guess they are not very friendly in the first place. And  probably more of those stupid Druids.

This place isn't very nice so I'd say lets get out of here. We most likely won't get answers here anyway. Let's go!

As the party moves down the tunnel back toward the central cavern, they see a dark druid wrapped in a long cloak pass in front of the tunnel heading for another of the exits. About a dozen other creatures, well armed, can be heard quickly approaching around the corner moments away.

More to kill. Germ mumbled to himself with a hint of glee noticable on his face. Then  drinks a Nostrum. With a thought of "I seem to be thirsty a lot recently."

“We need a plan. We’ve got the Oracle, but, no offense m’lady, turns out she doesn’t really have a better idea of what’s happening than we do. So... what do we think? We’re going to have to confront Rosier eventually it seems.” Boomingham glances at Waldorf. “How you holding up?”

Boomingham tries to listen to where the footsteps are coming from, as well as where the dark Druid went, with the intention of leading the party either south-west or south (prioritized in that order) depending on if they seemed clear of obstruction.

"I've... I've been worse. Hopefully we don't run into any more of those things."

The dark druid seemed to have come from the northeast tunnel and was heading for the northwest tunnel. The footsteps seem to be following behind and are right around the corner of the northeast tunnel. Both the south and southwest tunnels seem unobstructed for the time being.

Lets go then, before more show up. I mean, I'd love a fight but maybe it's wiser to just leave.

As Germ inadvertently took up the rear guard. He couldn't but help tell "Larry". He wasn't even talking to you. Then Germ gave a look to Torald and Ezeran of "Can you believe this guy?"

The party moves forward as silently as possible creeping forward towards the southwest tunnel. There's a brief shout as figures from the northeast tunnel rush forward, weapons drawn.

Karie prepared to rush into combat as the shouts began, guitar at the ready. She rounded the corner, pick in hand and at the ready!

"Have at you! You- oh... oh..." Karie put her pick in her pocket, somewhat disappointed, not at the lack of a fight, but at who they had found. Lawrence was in the group. Just her luck.

"Well, long time no see, Lawrence. I see you're still in one piece." Karie commented halfheartedly. She put her guitar away. She couldn't remember who Lawrence was with or whether or not anyone here was new to the group. It didn't matter. Her focus was on Lawrence. "So... how did your investigation go? I believe you went to check out the temple in the Hovels, correct?"

Following in the immediate support position, Lind barely avoided crashing into the suddenly halted minstrel. "Hovel Party! Well met."

"Guessin' we should put our weapons down, huh?"

"Well...barring some extenuating circumstances, like they're all mirages - or, worse, we've been mirages this whole time, and they're the real heroes...yes, that would probably be wise."

Scanning the crowd for any familiar faces, the Black Knight slapped The Demon Germ and Torald Waruelf on the back with a tremendous smile. "My old Crescent constituents! Well met, again! Glad to have you as part of our merry crew!"

He quickly took in the rest of the crowd. "Hmm...Lord Boomingham, I know through reputation...the young paladin, I believe I've bantered with, back in the day...the Viking I am sad to say, I have never had the pleasure...the gentleman with the demon in his chest, I know from our former faction...I know one of the noble Nôrn when I see one, but again, never had the pleasure...the same with the Witch and the Arbormancer - we must have some words, you and I, regarding the effects your guild causes every time it goes on strike - and this great lady."

He gracefully dipped his head in a half-bow towards the crimson-veiled Sand Queen.

"All in all...I know sadly few of your names, but I recognize many of the Hall's finest, and look forward to working with you." He held out his hand. "Lind Whisperer, Black Knight, and former...figure of the Crescent Union. Some of my exploits...are regretfully infamous. But - but! - I assure you, I am quite reformed. My pleasure, sirs, and ladies, my pleasure."

Torald looks quite confused at the newcomers. He recognizes some folks from previous missions, some from the Hall. Some are completely new to him. He feels a slap on his back. Still a bit on edge he jumps around, hand on his weapon. Ooh, hey Lind. Good to see you again. Torald turns to the rest. Most of you probably know me form the Hall or previous expeditions, but for those who don't, Torald Waruelf, at your service. He tries to make a fancy bow but somehow manages to mess even that up.

Now then, what are you guys doing down here? Something we might be able to help you with?

Surprised by the sudden appearance of a score of legendary characters of Heroica Ezeran stops dead in his track. The symbiont suddenly starts to laugh hysterically and spitting acid saliva all over. Ezeran bows towards Lind. "Nice to finally meet you, I'm Ezeran Yavarr, I've heard much about you!" He bows respectfully towards Vindsval and then greets the others with a smile and a nod.

Karie bows to Torald, partially as a means for him to see how to properly do so.

"Torald, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. My name is Karie Alderflask-Cour. We were the group who went off looking for Ulric, and needless to say, we wound up finding more than we initially thought. There's a lot to go over, as we've been off on what could only be described as an adventure in itself. We've scoured Eubric for a mystery writer and have been to the Faerie and back, only to bring one of the Founders with us.

More importantly, whoever's currently at the head of the Council running this city isn't the Founders. Euflear has confided with us that the Founders are indeed dead."

"Why don't we start with your group. How did your investigation in the Hovels go?"

All most getting run over Germ was ready to retaliate until the others started taking. You know, you shouldn't be smacking people in enemy territory. Germ then took a second to check the rest of the other out, only recognizing Monk, Karie, Kiray, Throlar, Vindsval and of course Lind. Then Germ directed the next comment towards Kiray. You remember those Dark Druids from Dastan well their is more of them down here, Kiray. We just took out a group of them and their seems to be more of them down here.

Germ steps out of the way. Not wanting to get that slime on himself.
