GBW - RECON - CoST - Bubo scandiacus

After the bombardment of our peaceful outpost - which was built with the best intentions - the mountaineers a preparing a revenge of epic scale. As a first step, a RECON Mission in the JULOB MOUNTAINS started, high above the central airport of MILLINGSBURG.

Equipment was transported with snow mobiles and an ATV. Despite the artic weather and large quantities of snow a team of mountaineers managed to build a hidden outpost.

Using radar-reflecting and heat absorbing tarps, they are totally invisible for any kind of arial recon or satelites.

A perimeter was secured with Claymores and other (secret) measures.

Temperatures dropped to minus 20 degree celsius in the night, but with some coffee crews regained their full strenght after beeing relieved.

From time to time the men had the chance not only to make pictures of starting Harriers or other planes....

The operation went so silent, that we didn't irritate some breeding penguins in the cliffs under us...

Without question, this is a top notch build. Everything from the cliffs to the camo netting, and penguin nest is well planned and executed. Very original idea. This is what people should strive for. Very nicely done!    

Great Sidebuild.  Weathered, terrain, and the build of the small encampment.        

This is a very nice build. You did a nice job creating the transition from cliffside to the top, and details such as the penguin's nest (do they actualy nest like that?) are excellent and help break-up an otherwise simple rockface.
