Atramor uses his Kraken Fang on himself before igniting his Phoenix Incense, both from the back row.

Battle Order
>Hoke vs. Vemillion B
>Atramor uses Kraken Fang
>Atramor uses Phoenix Incense
>Althior (fire) vs. Speckled A
>Althior (wind) vs Hunter A
>Matthias uses Smelling Salts
>Matthias heals Althior
>Bellanotte sings Rapid March
>Dyric vs. Speckled B
>Dyric vs. Vermillion A

I know it's not exactly ideal but we're eating some free hits and there's both damage and immunities to take into account.

QM Note: Since the actions you listed do not correlate with some of the submitted actions, I'll give 12hrs for people to make the necessary changes, otherwise I will run the round as people's actions are currently stated. K-Nut, if you want Althior to act, either state an action or give someone control over Althior. :classic:

Whoops. Fixed. My calculations were for the correct target anyway so I think things are alright unless Althior has different actions.

Hoke plunges his halbered into another wyvern as Atramor pops multiple consumables reviving Bellanotte and Dyric. Both of whom are pulled back from a blackness unlike ever they had experience prior. Althior rolls to one side as a speckled drake unleashes a cloud of corrosive mist. With a timely wind spell, the prophet disspates the deadly gas and slamming one of the Hunter Wyverns into the cavern wall. Matthias does his best to staunch Althior's wounds as Dyric fires off bolt after bolt into the furious lizards, Bellanotte singing her melody once more crouched behind a boulder for cover. With a tremendous roar Torc arrives on the scene flames spilling from her mouth, her eyes filled with ferocity and hate for the wyverns.

OoC: So sorry, I was just coming in to post and saw the round had been posted.

Althior heals himself with the Boon Rod then takes an Ether Core from the back row.

Matthias shakes himself back to reality and calls ether to patch up his own wounds.

> Matthias: Recover from *Stunned*
> Matthias: Heal (Stave of Grasping Thorns) vs Himself

Just let me know if that's not how *Stunned* + *Hastened* works.

Okay...I guess I misunderstood how hastened works with free hits.  I also just checked the wiki, and Minstrel songs appear to stack with lucky and hastened and whatnot. So that's pretty awesome. WBD, let me know if I'm wrong on that count otherwise that will seriously impact the new plan. Sorry about the mistakes so far ya'll, trying to get back into the groove of things. Everyone else, keep in mind that you now have an additional turn (so Matthias can take an extra action - Althior needs his extra to recover from stunned, unfortunately.) As long as we make sure our attacks are spread out we won't take more than one free hit. I'm thinking Hoke takes the Hunters and Dyric hits everything still in flight: thoughts? Hoke is among the few of us that could take a hit from the Hunters.

Atramor, growing frustrated at the lack of progress, slashes twice at Vermillion Wyvern A from the front row, twice at Vermillion Wyvern B from the front row, and Obsidian Wyvern B from the back row.

"Damn, don't tell me I'm gettin' rusty already..."

The only downside is that Minstrel affects only work on a round-to-round basis, at least, that's what it looks like from the wiki. Though it should be able to buff up Althior. Also, Atramor should change his second target; since Dyric can't wound the Obsidian dragons, it doesn't make sense for him to focus on them.

Also, I'm curious WBD, how are you rolling assassinations for the crossbow? In 139, it looks like Zeph rolled for every individual hit, are you just rolling for the target? I think both have their logic, I just want to be aware of what you're thinking so that we can plan accordingly.

Bellanette, keep going!

Dyric switches his stance, trying to bring down the last two wyverns in the air. He loads six more bolts, and from the back fires at Vermillion Wyvern B (Vermillion A, Obsidian A), and Speckled Wyvern B (Speckled A, Hunter A).

QM Note: I'm not sure about the difference. After every hit, I roll another d6 and if he get's a 1 the target is assassinated if not immune to Sudden Death. The warmonger crossbow only deals damage to the enemies above and below. Effects and assassination rolls do not affect the secondary targets, I've been running Matthias's cannon the same way.

Second one's in flight and I don't have any ranged weapons.

If a Speckled Wyvern could Free Hit Hoke and deal Poisoned, it should offset Bleeding, correct?  If Hoke puts on the Sterile Gloves, will that negate the Hydra Skin?

Matthias feels Bellanotte's song drives his hands, feet, and thoughts to a faster tempo, so he uses his extra time to try and heal Althior.

I more meant go for one of the hunters, because Dyric needs to target the second Vermillion in order to hit the Obsidian dragon down. Limit the free hits a bit.

Atramor leaps into the fray dealing massive damage to the Vermilion Wyverns. Dyric follows up with bolts streaming through the air as Althior and Matthias patch themselves up. Hoke tries to bring down one of the speckled wyvern, but has to dodge as the drake snaps at his heals. Torc swoops in with a gout of flame bringing Hoke some much needed luck. Unhinderd the Hunter Wyverns dive into the melee downing both Dyric and Atramor with merciless precision. “Son of a...” Althior pulls out his incense. “Is now a good time for this boys?”

Matthias tugs on the prophet's sleeve. "Let me try first, Master Althior." The gnome readies a nostrum and swings his staff around, channelling nurturing ether towards Bellanotte, Althior, and the others.

Recommended Battle Order:
> Bellanotte: Rapid March
Hoke
Hoke
Torc: Make Matthias lucky?
Torc: If Matthias not *Lucky*, make Matthias lucky; otherwise, make Althior *Lucky*
> Matthias: If *Lucky*, Heal (Stave of Grasping Thorns) vs. Bellanotte; otherwise, Nostrum v. Self
> Matthias: If Althior injured, Heal (Stave of Grasping Thorns) v. Althior; otherwise, Extraordinaire v. Vermillion A

> Matthias: If any party member injured, Heal (Stave of Grasping Thorns) v. first (by battle order) injured party member; otherwise, Extraordinaire v. Speckled A
> Althior: If any party member injured, Heal v. injured party member (Fire spell on Alea Iacta Est); otherwise, ...
> Althior: If more than one party member *KO*, Phoenix Incense v. Party; otherwise, ...
...

Reasoning is this: Bellanotte can give Matthias a third turn, and Torc can make him lucky, so they should go before Matthias. Hoke should also go before Matthias, so that if he goes down (Hoke? Never!), he will benefit from any raising that happens. Then Matthias should take all of his turns, *Lucky*, hoping for Roots of Life at least once (66% chance if Torc makes him lucky, 52% if not). Then Althior should take first turn at healing (and using a Fire spell to dispell the Comforting Spores), just to make sure he's not going to raise everyone (31% chance if he's *Lucky*); only after all those have been exhausted should he use the incense.

"Torc, help the Druid and the Prophet if he needs it too."

Torc - make Matthias Lucky (x2 times if not Lucky the first)
Torc - if Matthias Lucky, make Althior Lucky
Hoke - continue attack on Speckled Wyvern x2

When revived, Atramor will stand, shaking off the instantly-healed claw marks across his back, and dive in to Vermillion Wyvern A with both claws from the front row.

"Damn, mate. Those lizards hurt...appreciate it."

Battle Order:
> Bellanotte: Rapid March
Hoke
Hoke
Torc: Make Matthias lucky
Torc: If Matthias not lucky, make Matthias lucky; otherwise, make Althior lucky
> Matthias: If lucky, Heal (Stave of Grasping Thorns) vs. Bellanotte; otherwise, Nostrum v. Self
> Matthias: If Althior injured, Heal (Stave of Grasping Thorns) v. Althior; otherwise, Extraordinaire v. Vermillion A
> Matthias: If any party member injured, Heal (Stave of Grasping Thorns) v. first (by battle order) injured party member; otherwise, Extraordinaire v. Speckled A
> Althior: If any party member injured, Heal v. injured party member (Fire spell on Alea Iacta Est); otherwise, ...
> Althior: If more than one party member *KO*, Phoenix Incense v. Party; otherwise
Atramor
> Dyric

Thanks for the suggestion Stickfig. I've been trying to keep the battle as nonconditional as possible, but I don't think that's going to happen if we all want to survive.

Dyric is still down, right? Not complaining, just making sure I'm tracking with the plan.

He is down now, but needs an action (two? because of Bellanote?) because he will be up by his turn.

Bellanotte plays another rapid march from the back row.

When Dyric is brought back to his feet, he quickly falls, catching himself against the massive crossbow. These dragons pack an awful punch. I don't know if I've tasted dirt this much since Wren. We need to tighten up.

Dyric fires at Hunter Wyvern B (Hunter A, Vermillion A) from the back row

Bellanotte's voice trembles as she continues to sing her rapid march, Hoke stabs his glaive into a spotted drake before running and jumping onto Torc's back. The brown dragon scoops up the standing party members and in a torrent of blades and dragon fire bring down two of the wyverns. Summoning all of his healing reserves Matthias faithfully patches up all of his companions as Althior revives Atramor and Dyric saving them from certain death. Atramor still groggy misses his strike against the vibrant green wyvern who once more spreads healing spores throughout the cavern further strengthening the resolve of the remaining lizards. Dyric fires off more bolts but can't manage to land any lethal shots. As the wyverns flit about the cave, one obsidian wyvern slams his full weight into Torc sending the dragon crashing into the cavern floor dealing considerable damage.

Arial Fight: Enemies that are In Flight can only be hit with ranged weapons or spells. Once struck they will be Grounded and can be hit by melee weapons. At the end of the next round each Grounded creature has a 1/6 chance to become In Flight.
