I should still be lucky. It's from Kingpin, not a temporary buff.

Matthias reels from another stunning blow, then gathers himself to heal his own wounds and those of Shadeaux.

> Matthias: Recover from *Stunned*
> Matthias: Heal (Stave of Grasping Thorns) v. Self
> Matthias: Heal (Stave of Grasping Thorns) v. Bellanotte, assuming he gets a third turn

Damage was done to the Speckled and Vermillion wyverns, should they not be grounded?

I don't see any change. I'm hoping that being lucky alters my attack outcome so we don't have to deal with Comforting Spores again.

QM Note: Ah, sorry now I see. Yes it does affect the previous round, fixed, no more comforting spores.

Hoke can feel Zoot's Order cackle with glee as it carves through the wyverns' flesh.  Hoke almost feels the same way as Torc scoops the party up and rains down carnage and destruction upon their enemies.  The flight, the blood, the screams, the shouts, the shrieks, and roars, all mixed and melded together in draconic flame.

His exhiliration ends as Torc is slammed into the ground by the Obsidian Wyvern.  This was no game.  Hoke waved her off until she could be healed properly.

-Zoot's Order, Speckled Wyvern, Back Row x2 if not defeated the first attack
-Zoot's Order, Hunter Wyvern, Back Row if Speckled Wyvern is defeated in the first attack

-Torc, Nothing, Back Row

Bellanotte sings the Rapid March once more from the back row.

Dyric fires three shots into Vermillion Wyvern A with the Crossbow of Incessant Warmongers from the back row, then drops the crossbow and snatches Requiem off his back, firing at Obsidian Wyvern A.

Press them on, we've almost got them!

Atramor, brought back once more from the brink, looks drained as he dives into Obsidian Wyvern B from the back row with both claws. He will repeat unless nobody has targeted the Hunter Wyvern, in which case he will attack it from the front row.

Althior uses his scepter to fire a Water Spell at Obsidian Wyvern A then a Wind Spell at Hunter Wyvern unless it is already defeated, in which case he repeats.

The party once more climbs aboard Torc and take flight downing several of the drakes. The two Obsidian wyverns continue to circle the Party as both Atramor and Dyric unleash attack after attack. Althior prepares a water spell to end the fight, but the two remaining drakes let out a piercing shriek that reverberates throughout the cavern. Matthias barely manages to patch himself and Bellanotte up before they are struck by the sound wave. Torc, head swiping from side to side crashes into the cavern floor unconscious, her equilibrium completely thrown off by the wyverns screeches.

Arial Fight: Enemies that are In Flight can only be hit with ranged weapons or spells. Once struck they will be Grounded and can be hit by melee weapons. At the end of the next round each Grounded creature has a 1/6 chance to become In Flight.

Atramor pops out of his hiding spot to see the Obsidian Wyvern shaking and threatening to collapse the area. "We've almost got 'em, mates! Keep up the heals Matthias, you're doin' great. Belanotte, maybe sing somethin' to boost our power while we finish these things? For the love of Oleg, use earth spells, Althior; might not deal damage but if these things scream any louder the whole damn place is coming down on our head. And someone get Torc up - nobody's bitin' it on my watch," growls Atramor as he advances on Obsidian Wyvern A from the back row.

Bellanotte plays the rapid march from the back row .

Feeling the old, familiar shape of Requiem in his hands, Dyric set his aim upon Obsidian Wyvern A and B from the back row. When was the last time it saw action, Baltarok? An age and a day had passed since then. It felt good to hold the old bow once again. Once upon a time, it had been named for a noble man fallen in a fight with a force beyond comprehension. Then, it was the most monumental day of Rone's life. By now, many such moments had come and gone. He let arrows loose against the massive draconic shapes in the burial chambers of a Founder of Heroica, and it was simply part of the job. Yet another impossible situation down, a few more to go.

Althior casts earth spells from the back row at Obsidian Wyvern A until successful, then takes a grand potion from the back row. If he still has a turn remaining, he casts Water on Obsidian Wyvern A from the back row.

Matthias grimaces as his ears bleed. He pushes himself to extend more healing ether. He shouts a meager shout against the echoes, trying to stay Ablesword's hand before the dragoon wastes precious liquid.

> Matthias: If Matthais injured, Heal (Stave) v. Self; otherwise, Extraorindaire v. Obsidian A
> Mathias: If Dyric injured, Heal (Stave) v. Dyric; otherwise, Extraorindaire v. Obsidian B
> Matthias: Heal (Stave) v. Bellanotte; otherwise, Extraorindaire v. Obsidian A

@CMP @UsernameMDM If Hoke is going to use a Phoenix Essence, he should do it on his second turn, conditionally, at the end of the battle order (after Althior and Matthias but before Torc, obviously).

The party rallies for Torc's sake and nearly drive off the remaining two wyverns. Dyric sinks two more bolts into the lizards' scaly hides as Althior silences their shrieks with a well timed earth spell followed by a drowning surge of water magic. Hoke carefully administers a phoenix essence to his companion as Torc slowly regains consciousness.

Hoke shrugs off some gear and replaces it with other before he mounts Torc.

Hoke removes:
Sterile Gloves
Medal of Glory
Warrior Treads

Hoke equips:
Bone Claws
Coat Hanger
Obsan's "Masterpiece"

As he returns the items to his pack, he notices a little gold statue that appears to be broken in two.  He picks it up and takes a closer look.  "Is that?" he asks as he takes a sniff, then a little bite.  "It is!" Hoke says as he unwraps the gold paper covering the chocolate inside.

Hoke consumes the Henry Award for +1 HP.

Matthias heals Emorith, Rone, Ablesword, Shadeaux, and himself, then downs 3 tonics as he scrambles onto the dragon, unsure of what to hold onto but still clinging on for all he's worth.

Atramor wastes no time tossing the Deadly Venom to Dyric, keeps the Greater Potions for himself on realizing everyone else is more than stocked up, and throws Althior the Dragon Scale.

He then climbs aboard Torc, finding the most comfortable spot possible amidst the scales and spines, and after doing so, scratches his head in familiarity.

"...Hoke, this that lil' one we were runnin' 'round the Fields with a while back? Holy hell they grow up fast! We appreciate the ride, miss," he thanked, tilting his hat.

Dyric retrieves as many arrows as he can muster, wiping the draconic blood off of them. A shame to kill such majestic creatures. Satisfied with his collection, the assassin leaps onto the back of Torc.

So, to Ziegfrieds'?
