"This blade must be off balance..."

The Nord eyed the Paladin Infantry once more, hoping to actually damage them this time. Noticing the small Petaldan offering him a Grand Potion, Eric responded in a surprised manner. He didn't expect a kid in Heroica's service. However, one couldn't start young enough to learn the skills of a proper warrior?

Eric attacks Paladin Infantry B from the front row.

@The Legonater: Wouldn't it be better if Eric and Petaldan switched positions in the BO? So Eric is healed first in case of possible future damage done to him by the Paladins?

Boomingham growls as he is wounded. He begins to heal himself, before recalling that is a power he has all but forgotten. Still, what is he to do? Press forward, as the Assassin said. Boomingham targets Paladin Infantry B from the front row.

WBD, are you calculating Gold Reaper properly? I might be missing something, but I should be acquiring way more gold than what I am. :look:

QM Note: Fixed, I was missing his bonus gold collection from Atramor.

Southern fool.  Vindsval growls, a sound like gravel and broken steel.  The power you wielded could have been used for the benefit of all, yet you chose to align against those who have long protected this city.  You may have saved one, but now your soul is forfeit and that of your friends as well.

"Protecting this city? And yet here you stand defying those who would truly save it, harboring the treacherous and the scheming."

On 1/14/2018 at 6:00 PM, Lord Duvors said:

His gaze wandered over to one of the remaining watchmen, recognizing him as the one who had come in with the paladin commander.

"Hey!" he said, "you're practically dead on your feet, do you really want to die here? Are you really that dedicated to this cause?"

25729352148_87fbdc5561_t.jpg
"I've still energy to spare, Dwarf. You ask if I'm dedicated to my city? Would I be here otherwise?"

Hoke and Pretzel tackle the detective and manage to overwhelm his defenses. Vindsval likewise swinging his axe with great ferocity tears through one of the remaining paladin troops, before being set upon by Fervent who's smite nearly knocks the vindicator out cold.

Throlar tries to reason with the constable, but only manages to reinvigorate the old soldier as Kiray provokes the remaining paladin trooper into a frenzy of offensive maneuvers. Boomingham returns the damage with a strike of his own, his fists blazing with holy power. Dyric, Eric, and Atramor focus their efforts on taking down the constable, but can't prevent him from calling for aid.

Germ, Althior, Karie, and Petaldan, all utilize much needed potions and tonics in an effort to keep the party supported as Matthias finally manages a bit of healing for Althior.

Karie fiddles with a smoke grenade.

"Say the word Pretzel and we're outta here. We need to make an effort to grab our stuff before we head out, and I want Kukulkan and the Fox on me, right now." Karie frantically scans the room for the duo.

Hhmmm, I wonder if the "lucky" people should just gain up on one of the "lieutenants", then go after the last one. I mean their is only three of them left they got to stop at some point...

Torald fires a lovely fireball at Commander Fervent, back row.

Or, if we make a break for it, Torald grabs as many weapons as he can carry from the Ogre and tries to escort Sküld out of the bar.

Ezeran turns to Petaldan and Torald and mouths an urgent message. "Be ready to escort Sküld out of here once the way is clear, we need our weapons as well." sensing a good opportunity to strike Ezeran then casts a curved fire spell at Geezer from the back row.

Karie sneers. Their obstacle was overcome, and yet people, HEROES, still wanted to fight.

"Kukulkan, on me, now! This fight is over."

Karie tosses a smoke bomb.

Could not but wonder what is wrong with these people. As he fiddle with the "Flying Talon" as he eyes the Constable from the back.

"I've still energy to spare, Dwarf. You ask if I'm dedicated to my city? Would I be here otherwise?"

Throlar shrugged. "Well," he said "I tried. Goodbye."

Throlar prepared to leave with Karie as soon as the smoke bomb was dropped.

QM Note: Fleeing would require leaving the area your weapons are currently stored at.  Not that you couldn't retrieve them at a later point.

Shouldn't you first make sure Kukulkan and Copper Fox agree to your plan?

"Fervent," I address the Commander, "Face it. You're beaten. I believe you are right in your desire to arrest these men, since it seems to me that the may have performed actions meriting such a response from you. However, the rest of the heroes here feel differently and think that the two may be key in helping us to protect the people of this city. They want to give the two former veterans a chance to right whatever wrongs they have committed. At the end of the day, all of us here have the good of the city at heart, or at least most of us. You have worked with some of us before and should know that this is true. Now, Fervent, I am giving you one chance to surrender and leave with your men. You must also pledge not to return here again with your men. I believe that it is the best I can do for you under the circumstances. Please accept my offer, as your corpse on the floor of this...place, is not something I would like to see."

Can Pretzel swap the Armour of the Dark Arts for the Prophet Imperial Armour and use Command in the same turn? Or is "Commanding" not a free action?

If he can, he does that, otherwise... :sceptic:
