For a mini model, not bad.

For the lift, is the only thing keeping the lift up the friction in the pins? Looks that way. I think you could incoororate some kind of gearing to keep everything in the upright position.

Nice job!

I agree it could stay up better, but would need to be way larger. Thank you though.

Yes, I took a slightly different approach though.

It's okay, but it's not a proper scissor lift... It needs to have beams that cross over each other - like scissors - which would actually be possible at this scale: (click on image for LDD file)

How well does it fold? I guess I will test.

Yes, that is what I was aiming for.

It should fold just as well... (not that I've tested it, but I have had a lot of experience with scissor mechanisms)

Ok, I will try similar ideas.

I tested part of it, it doesn't fold very small, just half a stud each part.

At this small sale it is real challenge

That's strange, it should fold more than that... Try building the rest of it...

By the way, did you notice you've got a title?

There may be disassembly problems, but OK.

It shouldn't be too hard to take apart... And anyway, it was only meant to give you some ideas to build your own...

Yes, I am working alongside a large, New build... Not very ordinary...

That should be good... just remember, don't rush it - the more time you take, the better it will be. (up to a point...)

Yes, rebuilt 6 times already to distribute weight correctly. I considered a (WIP) topic, but decided it would be too full of updates, constant rebuild.

The scissor lift is fun to tinker, or look at. Just a fun thing.

Interesting... Are you rebuilding your supercar?

Not yet, I need to purchase some parts first, I put bulk parts into the backhoe loader, and someone dumped some parts into the system bins I have...

I am rather building a medium sized, tracked construction machine, more details later.

On topic, is the cabin in the ldd file not connected on one side?

It is only connected underneath by one beam, yes.

Ok, I am going to try and fix that.
