Eggyslav Posted November 28, 2017 (edited) Greetings and Salutations Eurobrickers, It's been a while, so I decided to show you one of my SP IV projects. As you may recall, Inspired by @Yooha, and unfortunately banned @VaderFan2187 (Godspeed bro ) I made a modular Space Police ship, which was my attempt at bringing back this classic theme. As I expand on the idea, I made a proper base of operations for Space cops. In the XYZ Quadrant of the galaxy, a medium sized planetoid SPIV-0637 is the home of the Space Police headquarters for the area, and high level security jail for Blacktron Pirates: Space Police Headquarters by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr The top floor under the duracrystaline dome houses the command center, which also acts as an interogation room, and commander's bureau. On his massive, multiscreen computer, he is monitoring everything, and there's also an distress holocomunicator, where the good citizens of Classic Space Federation are daily reporting numerous crimes by Blacktron, Spyrius, and other nefarious gangs and organizations. Space Police Headquarters2 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr The ground floor is the Garage and workshop, where all the vehicles, weapons and gadgets are being fixed It also has a safe with confiscated goods, guarded by Security Droid. Space Police Headquarters3 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr Let's now visit the arrest section of the outpost, shall we? But first, we have to pass the security control. The barrier will only get raised if we show the guard our documents, and he is the only one who knows the code to open it. The code is generated randomly after each visit: Space Police Headquarters4 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr In the future, there will be no traditional jail cells. Instead, the convicted criminals are held in biological stasis, they don't need to sleep, the also don't eat, all the needed nutrients are injected right into their bloodstream. The Convict Contamination Capsules also monitor their vital functions, and individually adjust temperature, humidity and athmospheric pressure, to create an optimal enviroment for any alien species. plus due to CCC's modular nature, they can be stacked up almost indeffinietly: Space Police Headquarters6 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr Of Course, the system isn't perfect, and due to some malfunctions some prisoners wake up from stasis, attempting to escape the facility. That's why there's a watch tower looming over the cellblock, with an enforcer always ready to fire a freezeray, should one of convicted try to escape. Luckilly jailbreaks happen on SPIV-0637 very rarely. Space Police Headquarters5 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr The second wing of the base houses the landing platform for some smaller spacecrafts, a quick Fighter is perched there and standing by for new instructions. You might recognize it as Labryss Class Interceptor's cockpit, since all the vehicles os SP4 use the Unitron technology of interchangeable cockpits. Space Police Headquarters10 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr Meanwhile, underneath the platform, the SP4 RTAT (Rough Terrain Armored Transporter) has arrived with a new Blacktron convict: Space Police Headquarters8 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr Beware though, a sneaky Blacktron Agent has infiltrated the base and is here to free his colleagues. Will he pass the cameras and patrols?: Space Police Headquarters9 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr On the other side we see an enforcer on a surveilance speeder, acompanied by a drone, and K9 droid, ready for a quick patrol 'round the planetoid: Space Police Headquarters7 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr And here we have a heavy duty crane, nessessary for managing CCC's and locked within prisoners. The powerful robotic arm and electromagnet easilly shuffle the capsules around: Space Police Headquarters11 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr Finally, here's a group shot of all the vehicles included in the MOC, from left to right: Surveillance speeder, Commander's hovercar, RTAT, and a Fighter: Space Police Headquarters12 by Jarek Wrzosek, on Flickr Whew, That's a lot of pictures, anywho, thanks for looking, Comments are very welcome, and see you next MOC! :) Edited November 28, 2017 by Eggyslav
Eggyslav Posted November 29, 2017 (edited) Um, Hello? Anybody here? I have shared a moc, And I would love, LOVE, to hear your opinions on it... *sigh* Why does nobody like me? I'm sorry, that I'm building in LDD, but I don't have the money to buy more sets, or space to build large dioramas, or whole cities... I personally really like your model, after having built my own SPIV theme. Also, don't feel bad if no-one post on your threads, I've had many of mine sit for months with no responses, just views. Look at it this way: your post could be helpful to someone who isn't a member here (yet), and who you inspire to do something similar. Your never know who might be reading, after all!
