LegoFjotten Posted October 7, 2017 (edited) The Cairo market fight scene from Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark. I took some liberties with the colors and buildings to make it more interesting, so rather than an attempt to copy a scene directly this is my own version. Most of it was built more than a year ago, just finished up some details to bring it to Skærbæk Fan Weekend 2017. Click the image to see larger size on Flickr. Comments are welcome! KristofBD Posted October 8, 2017 Good stuff! And very accurate I love how you were able to recreate the scene perfectly with seemingly simple building techniques.
Zed_43 Posted October 8, 2017 Really nice moc from a nice scene of indy's adventures. You made a really nice mix of colors for the walls. It works well. And all the little detalis on the walls, on the rooftops are great. One thing I'm not relly kind is the flooring. I find that brown and dark tan does'nt miw so well together. Digger of Bricks Posted October 8, 2017 Dang, you've put a great amount of detail into this creation! As little as it is, the three bundles of sticks on the center rooftop is a nice touch I really like. It's great to see more Indiana Jones creations come around every now and then! Littleworlds Posted October 8, 2017 This looks really excellent. From the colours, to the texturing of the building, to the market stalls. Everything just works and fits perfectly together. Beautiful scene!
LegoFjotten Posted October 14, 2017 Thank you all for your comments, glad you liked it! Hopefully someone will pick up the torch and build their own Indiana Jones moc, we need more Indy mocs...
Flagg1900 Posted October 14, 2017 This is a great build and to me captures the essence of this iconic scene from the movie, great job!
