Hi! so, this is my first post on Eurobricks, I did actually make this model about a month ago, but I thought I might as well share it here too.

So, here is a list of its functions:

  • Front and rear independent suspension
  • 4-wheel drive (RC)
  • steering (RC)
  • Working front and rear lights (RC)
  • opening doors
  • opening rear door/boot/bonnet (or whatever else you want to call it)...
  • A detailed interior (with a roll-cage and seats)
  • and loads of stickers...

In total this model has 9 PF components: 2 L-motors, 2 pairs of lights, 1 servo motor, 2 AAA battery boxes, and 2 receivers/remotes. It was a bit of a struggle to cram all of them into such a small MOC, while still having independent suspension, and 4-wheel drive, but luckily I still managed to do it! This is the chassis I used for it:

and of course, since I was doing the 6R4, I had no option but to make almost 40 stickers, just so I could recreate the iconic 'Computervision' livery which some of the 1980's group B rally cars had.

that's pretty much everything, so I hope you like it, and any comments would be apprecited!

Welcome to Eurobricks :sweet:

The 6R4 is a great candidate for an MOC due to the blocky nature of its design.  It suits Lego elements perfectly.

Thank you! And yes, that's one of the reasons I chose to build it!

Awesome build! But this is a model team build and should have been posted in the scale modeling forum.

Thanks! And oh, (I am still getting used to the eurobricks system since this is my first post) is there any way of swapping to the scale model forum now that I have already posted this?

You captured the shape of the car really well. But to add all the functions into a model of this scale is an outstanding achievement. Welcome to Eurobricks! Hope to see more from you soon.

Thank you very much! It means a lot to hear that! And I was pretty happy with how I managed to fit all of the functions in to it as well! :sweet:

Very warm welcome here at EB and a stunning entry you made. The normal MG Metro was a ugly and bad car, but the Group B version with the 6 cylinder engine in the back was a hell of a monster car, back in the days then.

Great replica and hope to see a lot more from you.
