After buying two bucket wheel excavators for parts I had to do something with the Rings and Buckets. So I designed and build this GBC. It rests on 4 wheels and all 4 wheels are powered. This GBC has very tight tolerances almost everywhere.

Looks great and very polished! I love the use of the nets. Do the balls fall directly into buckets or are they actually scooped?

Thanks. They fall into the buckets. I used the nets so the balls don't bounce and to keep the inside as 'empty' as possible.

Mini figs are nice touch for this moc indeed. It is always nice to see something original

Clever.   For minifig occupational heath and safety, perhaps some barriers to keep the figs from falling into the drum too.

very nice use of those wheels!.. and excellent presentation!

always good to see minifigs incorporated into a GBC

what do you mean by tight tolerances everywhere?  in the gearing, or in that parts come close to each other?

I like that with this GBC, you have't just created an interesting and unusual method of moving the balls, but you've made it look excellent too! I love that the whole thing resembles a large industrial sieving/screening plant, and the minifigs top it off as everyone else has said. Very well done!

I saw this on your YouTube before, and now here. I love the idea.

Edit: From where did you get balls?

This is really nice! I have be n looking for a compact GBC module to build, although I am not sure I could duplicate this. Anyway, I really like it.

Did you use all the large rings and buckets from both sets?

Where is the net from?

Thnanks for sharing this!

Andy D

Have you thought of adding this to the GBC collection thread as well?

Yes, exactly all the buckets and bucket wheels from 2 sets. The net is from Bricklink. I don't want to double post but if that's practice I can post a link to this topic.

Gathered over one year through bricklink over many orders together with other bricks, not easy.

Yes, in the parts that come close to each other, especially around and within the wheel (not scaffolding).
