I am very active in board gaming as well and in FB groups I do see a lot of complaints about DHL as well. I have had several TLG shipments with pierced boxes. All delivered by DHL.

Ladies and gentlemen.....we got him! Or "them" in this case. Box seems to be good condition. The babies and the father are doing okay.

Oh in this case it was Lego’s packaging to blame and because of the weight of 42082 this box also was slightly misformed...

Ahh okay. I do have a slight dent in the Crane's box too. I reckon it's too heavy :P

I'm sorry to inform that you will be getting full reviews for all four sets after all

I have finished the introduction, shooting box images, content etc, and the write-up until the build for the Crane and the Forklift.
Tomorrow I will finish everything up until the build phase for the Forest Harvester and Volvo Zeux.

After that it's only building, shooting pictures of the progress and doing a little write-up per step.
And concluding with a rant....or praise

I like this workflow so far. Should do it this way more often.

To be honest I'm curious (also) about forklift ?

...and @Jim please pin reviews for some time (until interest wears off) so we can enjoy beautiful pictures if new sets

Thanks

Have you spotted any new moulds so far? (I consider those introduced in the Chiron as also "new")

No new parts except for the pneumatic switches in 42080

Yup. Unfortunately these sets don't score high in the "new molds" department.

Since we're talking about new molds, allow me to express my nostalgia about 2H 2016 sets which give us a supercar and a bunch of amazing new molds

While I absolutely agree, let's not steer this discussion away from the 2018 sets. Thanks.

Agree my gemstone friend, but look this year as optimisation on usage of existing parts

But I think this year we have 6 sets with drivetrain (differential and engine):

- 42075 (one diff)

- 42077 (one diff)

- 42078 (two diff's)

- 42079 (one diff)

- 42082 (two diff's)

- 42083 (two diff's)

And (I assume) seven sets with over 1000 parts...

For NZers: Toyco have 42079, 42081 and 42082 in stock at 20% off until Wednesday the 25th. They have similar discounts pretty much every couple weeks, so no need to hurry unless you really want 'em now. Prices at 20% off are 72, 199, 399.

Weird to see them have them before proper release date - they also have 42083 in stock - no discount.
