[MOC] Dieselpunk Jet Ship

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Here's a dieselpunk ship I built inspired by old train and sci-fi rocket ship designs from the 30-40's. Hope ya like it :)

DIESELPUNK! :moar:

My gosh, this has elements of soooo much! Including the 1930's sci-fi rocketcraft and streamlined locomotive inspirations you mentioned, this creation fits very well within the dieselpunk subgenre of Sky-fi, an absolute favorite of mine! :sweet:

Excellent work, I just love it!

Glad you like it :classic:

I know that 30's design and sci-fi is a little obscure but I'm a fan too.

Yes I really like that minifigure head

It would be really cool if you made a rocketcraft MOC for the S17 Retro Spaceman, perhaps in his uniform colors of Sand Green, Dark Bluish Grey, and Flame Yellowish Orange (as you can tell, I'm a really big fan of that CMF).

Yes I was going to use him but his colour scheme was wrong, it's hard to get bricks in sand green. He's the only minifig I got from that series so I definitely plan to use him for something. I might even buy a few more, he has a cool old fashioned ray gun that I love.
