dirkb Posted August 4, 2017 Hello together, I have build a LEGO world map for our living room. Maybe you find it interesting. You can find a detailled description with images on mocpages and on my blog. I would really like to hear your feedback!
XBrickmonster Posted August 4, 2017 That is very fun! I love how you have made it topographical! I would have, maybe, smoothed it out with some tiles here and there, though. I really like maps and globes, and I have been thinking about building a LEGO version of the game Risk, which requires a large color-coded map. Nice job! Littleworlds Posted August 5, 2017 Awesome! Very competent use of colours to create different terrains, which look absolutely legit. Great work!

Artanis I Posted August 7, 2017 Not a bad projection selected (obviously none are perfect) and very well represented. My favourite overview is Goode's map, but the interruptions can be a distraction. A very nice (huge) display piece! The most interesting maps for me either show elevation, vegetation or political boundaries. So I really like how you've represented elevation with both colour and 3d.
