[Narrow gauge] Ponfeblino

Recommended Posts

From the MTM (MTR Train Mocs) i have the pleasure to present my latest creations

This is my first incursión into functional narrow gauge. A challenge for me and pushed by the narrow station of Ponferrada from my colleague Blastem.

In this case i tried to represent the most significative material of the steam era of the spanish line from Ponferrada to Villablino the “Ponfeblino Line” and in 6w to be in the same scale from all my standar gauge trains.

All this material is fully functional by PF. Thanks to the master Sheepo to help me with the PF wagon. Only him can do it easily to accommodate 2 L motors, 1 Lithium battery and 1 PF receiver.

Maaan, this is wonderful! Lots of creative solutions, but still simple and clean lines! Amazing!

The only thing I'm missing is the video while these locos and carriages going around.

... *oh2*. Beyond impressive, how you have managed to compress everything to LEGO scale, and yet keep it so clean.

Having played around with NG myself, I have a few questions; can these go round the LEGO curves without falling off? Mine never can, at least not without leaning drastically! Also, does one PF car have enough power to propel the whole train? Experience tells me you need to have as many axles powered as possible, under both loco and wagons.

Those coaches are beautiful too, I may have to take some inspiration from here...

Agreed. You've done a fabulous job at capturing the originals in spite of a fairly restrictive scale. Wonderful!! Many congratulations.

Awesome models and indeed a very compact build with those PF parts. That IR receiver... it's so perfectly included in the design, I almost missed it.
