spirogero Posted July 17, 2017 (edited) This is an example, how we can use the brick separator as a building element. 45l by Spiros Geropoulos, on Flickr The angle of the Separator gives interesting options for sloped building. On a more abstract level, using the Brick Separator as a building element, is a way of presenting the versatility of LEGO elements (and the LEGO philosophy). We turn something that is designed to separate and destroy, into a creative part that supports builds (instead of tearing them apart). More pics on FlickR. I've also submitted it to LEGO Ideas. MAB Posted July 17, 2017 Nice moc, but I cannot see lego ever making it as a set with so many separators in it.
Dragunov2 Posted July 17, 2017 Already voted for this one!
Trekkie99 Posted July 17, 2017 Cool flower!!! Love the car wash brushes for the stem as well.
Littleworlds Posted July 17, 2017 Great idea! The look like they were made for it really. Everybody complaining about having too many brick separators should take an example on your flower.
Dragunov2 Posted July 17, 2017 Where did u get those green one from?
spirogero Posted July 18, 2017 Thank you all! It would be something... different, to see as a LEGO set. Out of the ordinary. And that, would make it more interesting. Don't you think? The green separator comes from an older set (quite old, in fact). I don't remember which one.

MAB Posted July 18, 2017 Just now, rollermonkey said: I probably have four times that many, just from buying sets the past couple of years. And in how many of those sets did you get more than one? Lego don't treat this as a building part, so they will not include so many in one set.
Dragunov2 Posted July 18, 2017 So no number of the green seperator? Cheers,
rollermonkey Posted July 18, 2017 Of course there's only one per set. I'm saying that they include them in so many sets now though, that it isn't difficult to have enough to make this flower. Or three.
Dragunov2 Posted July 18, 2017 I found the green seperators, brand new, gonna order 10 of them

spirogero Posted August 19, 2017 I made a variation of the flower. Small color differencies, sturdier stem and posable leaves. Check it out in: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/2ca4c977-97e6-4948-9fd2-333e230a1dbc/updates I hope you like it.
