Ok here goes! @Kolonialbeamter I would suggest three types of tags, both the square and round options are great. I could go either but if pressed would probably say I actually prefer the square, although you are right and the round 'coin' is more fitting!

Here are my three suggestions:

Gold - For winning an Era 1 challenge category

Gold - For participating in every Era 1 challenge

Silver - For at least 1 entry in an Era 1 challenge

and of course you are only awarded the highest level tag that you qualify for!

There can be. There is a solitary kraken in the game; it was featured in one of the parts of Challenge V and is still active. Another sea serpent of some sort is rumored to be in the waters near Trador, but no one has seen it clearly yet. No other mythical creatures have been spotted so far.

I can't remember if we already encountered mermaids or not...

It is a game set in the Golden Age of Sailing. So if you build a MOC featuring a huge monster, go for it as others can say this is only the imagination of a bunch drunken sailors :p

Just don't start building a monster and say that this little pet is going to destroy all your enemies :) so in other words, you can't own magic pets or abilities. You can only spread rumours and tales about those :)

To be sure, I hope someone of leadership can confirm this :p

I will add there are some strange plant monsters lurking on Berelli jungle. Some Oleon soldiers could have stumbled on them once. Well, it's a Ténotclaxcan tale...

Can anybody provide me with a clear, clean and bright picture of a Lego compass rose?

Like this one, but in a higher resolution, less dusty, and with fewer reflections on the cap. Best would be to remove the cap but this would mean to break a Lego piece, not a good idea.

I want to use this compass rose as the base for a medal to be created in inkscape - Corries should feel addressed here
