I've set the Technic forum to the main EB theme. Could a couple more people try to vote and report their results here? Thanks.

It seems to be working - two more members have voted!

Edit: make that 12 more! (and counting!)

  1. I voted, then the options disappeared and the results showed up (as expected).
  2. I refreshed, and just the results show up (as expected).
  3. I went to another page of this same topic, and just the results show (as expected).

Seems to be working ok for me.

Edit:
However, if I click on the "See who voted for this" link, it shows my username, but the number on the page says 11 (for answer = 2), but 12 usernames are listed.
If I click on the other answers, they match up ok.
Maybe it doesn't count Jim since he is the creator of the topic?

It seems to be working, although I don't know whether my vote was added or not. It says at the top "20 members voted", but when you add up the individual tallies it only comes to 19. Is this normal, because it doesn't show my own vote?Ā

but when you add up there is one member missing

That's me!

I don't know why my vote wasn't counted properly...

But I'm glad to see that the poll is working, even if not in the Technic theme.

It works for me on IOS with different browsers.

Man, l couldn't vote or see any results in ages ... so i was really surprised that I received a normal behavior with this default theme. I hope you can find the reason for the misbehavior.

Yes, and I much prefer working polls over the Technic theme. (the Eurobricks theme that is, not the actual Technic theme!)

It just accepted my vote, and changed from 24 to 25 instantly! I hope it starts working.

I am not convinced it's the theme, since I had problems in the RA theme as well.

So, here's another test poll to make sure:

What is the RA theme?

I think it's reviewers academy.

Jim, I tested the other poll and it worked fine.

Thinking it seems like any custom theme has broken polls, I went into Sci-Fi forum and created a poll. It behaved brokenly just as Technic forum did before you switched themes. There must be something in the custom forum theme code that is doing this and it isn't based on any one theme.

It seems it has something to do with themes that are overridden (in other words, custom themes indeed).
