In the top left corner of the picture of Axl's set, there appears to be a large structure of some kind. Is that the villain's base?

The mech is weird. It seems that battle suit Clay (or some version of a battle suit) goes inside the larger mech and pilots it. Too much going on.

It's a war40k Dreadknight.

Yeah.  I guess we'll see if Lego did a better job with the concept.

The heck...

These don't look good IMO

Maybe better pics will change my mind but the Jestro set looks awful

Also, no Ruina? No Monstrox?

I'm also pretty sure Monstrox is in 72004 since he's Monstrox 2.0 he'd be in the same form as Merlok, hopefully we get a nice mech for him. Maybe Ruina will come in the summer wave? or a store exclusive not shown? I don't see why we wouldn't get a new set with Ruina sometime this year since she has become one of the main characters.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like we got a lot more stone and lava people. I like the builds of the sets but I feel like there are really no villain characters

I'm assuming next wave will be villain heavy, since we're presumably getting 4/5 knight's main vehicles this wave.

I suppose It's trans. light green and not trans neon green. Similar parts like the windshield with the thunder vortex print in the Goblin King;s castle set from Elve's and the long flags that are used as electric billboards in the Ninjago City set are all trans. light green. My prediction is that TLG just reuses those elements. But maybe it is neon. :)

Looking at them myself, yeah, it looks like Trans. Light Green (a.k.a. Trans. Bright Green), especially considering that also both the Berserker and the Twinfector share this part as a canopy. Why that part is significant is because next year's 76096 Superman Krypto Team Up features two of them in what I'm pretty sure is Trans. Light Green; so presumably, these two sets might be utilizing the same recolor.

When SvL said that the trans-green featured in the antagonists' craft was the older, darker one, I did think that seemed rather unusual. But I was glad nonetheless, since it is the one trans-green color that the least parts are made in, not to mention that potential new canopies in that color would have been great for Space Police II creations. But, it really did turn out to be too good be true. :def_shrug:

But still, these sets all look pretty good, and the antagonists' rides did turn out to be quite Blacktron like in their color scheme, just like some had jokingly suggested on this topic before. :smug:

The NA catalog ran till May/June.

Irrelevant. NA's catalogs in past years around this time would deliberately omit content that would be releasing early in Europe, only for them to show up in March.

There is a certain formlessness that I see in these that I saw in CHIMA's final days. I'd rather the story end with an actual ending, rather than not wrapping it up, and getting it canceled anyway.

Where are you finding the leaks?

Link to the page can be problematic, so I will do something like this:

I'd refrain from doing something like this in the future.

@Nilker I'd remove the link if I were you.

So, I think the sets look quite good from what I can see at the moment. It's hard to make out the exact shapes of the villains and their vehicles, but the colour scheme is a great at the very least.

The knights have their shoulder armour and shields moulded in warm gold. Part of the villain army consists of dark grey/black squire-bots with good old Vladek Helmets, but It seems like there will be new visors, too. :classic:

I just noticed, Ruinas not in this wave, so she will probably be in the next.

P.S. I wonder what she will look like.

I'm not sure if I'm seeing new visors or just new tech heads or helmets.  The corrupted Squirebot idea is pretty good.  Now that their Jester isn't corrupted, they needed to corrupt something else.

It seems that aroon's Xbow can drop a motorcycle. it look like engine pods, but i think it's a motorbike-like vehicle's wheels. In addition, there appears to be a small flying vehicle with 2 Six stud Shooter on the roof of the Axl's tank.

Loving the look of all of these. Not sure if the translucent villain color is neon green or Atlantis green, it looks the most like the latter to me.

  • The Berserker Bomber is pretty much my dream Blacktron vehicle (let's admit it, it's basically a modern version of 6981 Aerial Intruder), but I'm sad to see Macy getting the least of all the heroes once again.
  • The Twinfector is gloriously tron-y and has some really nice shaping. Too bad it uses those power miners wheels. I have so many of those that I've really grown to hate them.
  • Not sure what to think of Lance's vehicle, which appears to be some sort of hover-jousting vehicle. At least it's an interesting and pretty reasonable and surprisingly unexplored concept. The spider minifigure in that set uses rather bad-looking pieces for the legs, though, somewhat ruining the look, so meh. I kinda wish LEGO would introduce a specialist, more in-scale with minifigures themselves, part or group of 2-3 parts for spider-bodied minifigures. They crop up so often that seems kind of like an obvious thing to do, especially given how often minor, once-off characters get entire specialized and complicated molds to themselves.
  • Aaron's flyer seems nice, but the blades seem very small and the obvious bike-dropping function seems very out of place due to its wheels sticking out. They're not even the right shape to give the impression of jet boosters. At least the villain mini-flyer looks stylish with what appear to be the superhero bolt pieces decorating it; not sure about the corrupted bot yet.
  • The mech seems to suffer from being forced to accomodate the anatomy of the smaller mech, with those dinky little arms sticking out. The one open segment of the tri-shield looks very out of place, too. I like the sword-railgun thing, though, and the combined shield and blaster looks fairly decent, actually. I'm hoping that's not actually Monstrox 2.0, though, because while it seems likely, it's going to be really underwhelming if LEGO doesn't bother to produce a decent model of his final form, as they have done with every big ninjago threat to date (Great Devourer or Overlord Dragon anyone?)
  • Axl's tank is pretty boring-looking, but it looks like it'll have a lot of functions, like a less visually impressive but more functional Vermin Vaporizer, such as the mini-vehicle releasing function, the tool storage on the side (incidentally, I'm liking the use of tr. orange Bouldron bodies as the tread axles), and the dual cannons, and if the dual cockpits are any indication, presumably the middle section will detach as a flyer. Again, the little flyer is pretty nice looking. I'm interested in seeing how it fires off the little ant things. I find it difficult to comment on Jestro's redesign without seeing the finalized thing, though.

Actually, no one else seems to have mentioned the ant things. I for one really wonder if those are intended to be white in the final product or if they're an unfinished mold or both. At least there appear to be some in every set, unlike with previous villains (seriously, the number of globlins we got was pathetic). Here's hoping they'll also make some varieties and make a battle pack with a lot of them in it. Bonus points if they somehow add app integration to them.

Thanks to various members of our community, I also now saw the leaks.

- Seeing how much like an actual Land Raider Axl's tank looks like amuses me, but aside from that, it's probably a set I'll pass, as it will most likely be one of the most expensive sets of this wave.

- The Berserker Bomber looks pretty cool, I'm looking forward to finalized pics of it.

- Twinfector and Lance's weird... vehicle thing don't really appeal to me, except for the Spider Guy (mostly because of his helmet). I think I'll need some proper images to judge these two.

- My only gripe with Aaron's X-Bow is the gold. I think it looks really ugly next to the dark blue and lime green. The build itself looks great though.

- Finally, the Mech... my only issue with it is that the Mini-Mech inside it apparently still utilizes the HF hands, rather than those nifty new hands introduced with Mr. Freeze in the Batman Movie line (seriously LEGO, please give us those hands in some more colors!). Other than that, it's my favourite set of those leaks.

As for the "Ant Things", as DraikNova called them, I would've probably overlooked them as well. They seem to be small enough to be used as ammunition for stud shooters. I think they could be also used to great effect as decoration on larger MOCs.

Overall, I'm looking forward to these new sets. I'm only worried about the lack of small sets akin to the Ultimate sets or the mechs we got in previous years, but those sets look overall pretty nifty.

I did find a link to the new Nexo Knights sets. In a Transformers site (TFW2005) you might need to do a little digging but it should be easy to find.

They are spiders. At least that's what previous-mentioners called it

I think they are studs, with legs.

Wow I'm really liking the look of this wave, all of the sets look good even in these prelims and I'm a sucker for black and green so the villains are right up my alley. All of the Knights vehicles look good and appropriate, finally a nice twist seeing Jestro as a good guy and it appears Robin might finally be the Black Knight full time and it looks to me like he has normal minifig legs and not the short ones he had before. I really like the mech with a power suit inside, very cool. I'm happy to see them facing villains that are just as technologically advanced and if what people are saying is true about the forces of Knighton turning evil and Monstrux is like Merlock 2.0, this makes for a very intriguing turn of events where the Knights are outnumbered and nearly defeated, which frankly makes for a better story. So far the Knights have had such a huge advantage over the monsters from years past that it was clear they had trouble finding ways for the stakes to be raised.

Where are you seeing Robin?  It's hard to make out any details at all, but I can see a few characters.  Not sure I see Robin.
