That's simply awesome... Does the "rock" output to the truck has its own drive, is it synchronised with the main drive?

It has its own drive by L motor. The main drive uses also L motor with same gearing. so its synchronized somehow.

I motorized the 'normal' BWE driving the two belts separately as well. I consider it realistic on that model - it allows for stopping and starting the lower belt when a truck is full and a new truck arrives, while the excavation continues. Exact lockstep isn't too important - actually the base model has the lower belt running slower than the upper one.

Hi All,

The various feed belts were operated independently using their own motors, and the speeds were synchronized using the configuration options in sBrick. Each belt could be stopped and started using individual control.

Cheers

Tony

Yes. I plan to share the files. In which form is not decided yet. whether just the LDD files or PDF instructions.

But I have to speak first with the original designer of this model.

I'm reporting you......some of your crew aren't wearing their high visibility jackets :tongue::tongue:

Joking aside, this has got to be the most impressive Technic models I've ever seen, the
sheer size and complexity of it, absolutely incredible. I take my hat off to you.

This model truely is a mechanical marvel on a large scale. Conceptually simple, but the devil is the structural detail of holding it all together and getting it to work.

Equally as good as Dawid_Szmandra's crane in my opinion.

I'm curious, what is the scale of this MOC and the original BWE? based on the tiny chair in the dump truck, and the two tiny chairs in the control room of the BWE, it looks like a "person" would be roughly 2 studs high? Although the ladder to get to higher parts of the excavator is far too large for something 2 studs high? It's all so confusing.
