I mean it's for the HP owl lectern so it serves it's purpose for that.  I'm sure they will make it in other colors soon enough.

I don't see any leaks of a new crocodile/alligator. I see one picture with a crocodile (and a car driving over a bridge) but that's just set 6490 and is the old crocodile mold.

I think the arm/hand is a little oversized but they look great

I don't know if it's just the perspective/lack of other angles but those hands look really asymmetrical.

Loving the lion cub and the new monkey! This really makes me wonder what the elephant(s?) will look like. It’s so great to see LEGO make more animal-dependent sets.

I agree that the hand was not the best almost like the monkeys equivalent of a begging hellboy
However it is a small mould and I understand the need for it to be able to grab things  The tail looks good for hanging it from tree branches

That pic of monkey looks pretty neat! Their hands  may be asymmetrical but it doesn’t bother me much.

Love the new 🐒 ... that one grasping hand is a fair compromise, given everyone’s nostalgia for the ‘old’ monkey, and it looks much better when holding something than empty.

Not to worry, green crocodile will be rereleased officially soon! I think it would be late April but who knows.
