My Massive Collection Of 8880s

Recommended Posts

hi!

since I found out that the 8880 is one of my absolute favorites, I decided to buy every 8880 I found on bricklink.

you'd better not believe it for it's just a nice introduction to the pic: ;-)

so once again: it's photoshopped!

Maybe I'll upload a 3264x 2448 version of the pic so you can see the more "detail" and a few mistakes.

so, what do you think?

EDIT: I've uploaded a 3264x 2448 version: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/BerndDas...s_3264x2448.jpg

thank you!

I've skimped a little bit... yeah ;-)

but photopaint (which I am using) nearly died after every action and I didn't have much patience...^^

Fantastic, like Copmike stated, if you had not written it was photoshopped I would have believed you! The only slight give away is if you examine it closely a ffew shadows are a bit off.

Great job, and who says the photo never lies! *wub*

I'd love to have that many 8880's. I also love pics like this. How many do you actually have?

I own 3 8880s. One from my childhood and two later from eBay. (couldn't resist :-/ )

You might recognize the 3 different 8880s:

- the left mirror of a 8880 is turned false (it's on every third because I didn't notice)

- a 8880 features adjustable seats

- the alternative model

I'm glad to see you enjoy it!

Woah, nice! Good job on it, it looks almost real! Just one question though... why (on the table) does it look like on 8880 is on top of the other?

because they really are. it should add more realism... does it...? 8-| ;-)

I set up the camera on a fixed place (tripod) and every photo i put the three 8880s elsewhere and merged them on the computer. So I've achieved kinda correct shadows and the right proportions.
