Blakbird Posted September 7, 2017 Not sure why I haven't commented until now, but this is an incredible build. The proportions and coloring are just perfect. I just had to honor it with a couple of renders. Larger versions are available at my Bricksafe. By the way, it is not just the physical model that is amazing. brunojj1 Posted November 28, 2017 It seems like the bigger door panels have been painted - you can see a slight deviation in colour from the surrounding pieces. The 11x3 shell could be easily substituted by the 11954 panel which exists in blue, unfortunatly the #17+ #18 panels don´t. Painting panels or beams never would be an option for me. I´d rather come to creative solutions instead, use other parts or colous for a consistent look or wait some more years (or decades, who knows ) until new parts will be released. I really wish I´ll be able to fight out of the blue corner one day! BTW - the builder completely messed up the fenders . The front wheel house literally leans onto the wheel, due to the use of narrow hoses instead of flex axles. Why not simply use black flex axles here? Definitely looks rad in blue!!!! Can’t wait till Lego has a solid blue color to build in. Medium blue will have the most color for panels in the future from what I can see... technic_addict Posted November 28, 2017 Blue looks pretty awesome but poor implementation. I may have a go at it and use the equivalent size #17/18 panel with holes used on Williams F1 car. I had an idea to use the short piece #13/14 joined together as Dugald did in his Aston to make the longer piece.
