The Port of Edrin

One of the major activity of the Deland Republic Capital Edrin is mainly focused on its Port.

The recent troubles of the world accentuated the activity on the quays and it reached a such intensity that the Port laborers were at every corner preparing anything the Army or the Oil Companies wanted !

It is here, on those buzzing quays, F.Al'Hadrin was assigned to escort the Colonel MacIntosh  supposed to inspect a delivery the Army was supposed to send to Toohati. It seemed the Port manager was troubled by this delivery...

- No ! No ! No ! I will not mix this crate of Bombs with all the rest of the Chemical and Oil deposit ! Army or no, I am in charge here ! And I don't want an accident ! Said the Manager to the Colonel.

- Yes ! Of course, Sir. But, we would really like to deliver these little gifts to our RON friends quickly... Do whatever it takes to secure it but it has to be in the next ship ! Do you understand ? Said coldly the Colonel.

At this words, the manager saw it was pointless to argue with the Army and prepared the security mesures for this Special Delivery.

Meanwhile some men of the Navy where going to the training.

With all this Military preparations, the Port of Edrin is really bustling of activity now !

Love it @Faladrin really has a good busy feel and the individual parts are all very nice. As always the touches of humour are well done. Great job.

Very nice. Out of curiosity, what is the boat in the bottom right hand corner with the balloon pieces?

Thank you ! Nice you like my humourous touch. I am more a fan of old war movies and particularly some old french movies are very funny to see (for example, "La Grande Vadrouille") and they keep the humour at a high level.

Thank you ! This boat is a chemical carrier; this explain the strange aspect of its containers.

Awesome build, you have captured the elements of a port extremely well, loving the movable crane!

Judges Comments (not all judges comment):

There is so much going on here, it's great. The crane is a nice touch, but I would have liked to have seen it modified a bit more from the actual LEGO set. The small crates and items littered through out are a nice touch. Suggestions would be to tie things together a bit with either some tile walkways or maybe space things a little better for practicality (building squeezed in behind the train tracks and crane. Tons of detail here, this is great.

I see support of an offensive campaign.  I did not see a map grid but I do see equipment and geography.  Very busy and detailed scene.  Maybe a lil too much going on?  Lots of general details, but nothing goes too detailed into anything particular.  But that's not necessarily a bad thing.
