Takkata Posted April 9, 2017 (edited) Hey everybody! I don't post here as much as I should, but I figure I might as well start again. This is my latest and greatest MOC. Took me a long time to get it to a state that I was happy with. And it isn't fragile either! Take a look at the video I made of it for a sturdyness test and to see some of the techniques I used: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQdoRlA4ug8 A Weathered Lodging by Grant Davis, on Flickr Edited April 9, 2017 by Takkata
mattb483 Posted April 9, 2017 Very great build! At first glance I didn't even think this was made out of Legos. Awesome though and good use of colors, the ground plates make the structure really pop.
Tezclatipoca Posted April 9, 2017 Wow ! Excellent technique to create a beautiful and realistic shed ! Congratulations !
kurigan Posted April 10, 2017 Wow, what an excellent build! Thanks so much for sharing how you did it. So many builders are so reluctant to show the back side and inner workings of their builds and yet you've gone and made this great video all about it. Kudos! KristofBD Posted April 10, 2017 Woow that is some clever building! Any behind the scenes shots?
peedeejay Posted April 10, 2017 Very nice technique! Is the roof attached or just everything laid on top?
jimmynick Posted April 10, 2017 That's a lot of textures and shapes you were able to achieve by using so many of those rods, lightsabers, hands, etc. Like peedeejay, I also wonder how the roof is built?
