Very nice, especially with virtual pivot steering. Gotta ask, how well does that work with the suspension? Also, strangely enough, I think the real truck looks like a knockoff Ford dump truck of similar era.

Love this submission.  The older look isn't something we see often.  I see a lot of Porsche parts here. How much of the bodywork are panels, lift arms from the Porsche?

Great MOC, the only thing I'm missing is the big cloud of smoke from behind.  These ZIL's were famous about their consumption. (50-100 liters/100 Km). Steering is ingenious.

Looks very realistic. How durable/sturdy is the virtual pivot axle. It appears that the lift arms could easily pop off of the wheel hubs. In your video you shifted gears without stopping; how smooth was this gear change while in motion,?

Great moc. Some clever techniques used, love the tipping bed and the use of old school wheels. Colour scheme is done very well.

Awesome! not a big fan off the steering though,. i reckon at this scale an undriven solid axle shouldnt be that hard.. but yeah fenders and tires rubbing..  still. :P

Nonetheless very nice truck!!

Suspension is very simple but works well

A lot of porsche panels and many more from B & P

The virtual pivot steering system is surprisingly rugged. But it is very difficult to setup at the beginning. There is some backlash in the system.

But it does not make problems bigger than other axis types in lego.

The gearbox works smoothly with this part

26287 Cross Axle, Extension, 3M

Very nice truck, it looks great. How strong is the virtual pivot steering system? Going through sand, it seems like that would wreck the steering system.

The steering system is very durable, with only a fair amount of play (backlash)
Of corse it is not for offroad use but works great on flat surfaces

It looks very nice, I agree that the panels on the sides of the lights should be changed, All the orange is very impressive, and the steering works great. I like it a lot, great representation.

Awesome!!! I'm wondering...do the doors click into place when opened/closed like they would on a real car?
