Any Lego movie 2 ones?

Yeah, theres supposed to be 16 sets released in the first wave. There are no names yet, though. I'd go to the Lego Movie 2 set discussion to ask any other questions.

Apparently Imperial Landing Craft is available at the DreamWorld & Chadstone Lego specialist stores in Australia. No news as to whether it will get a wider release than that.

You know, it was late-August last year when we got January 2018 leaks, so you guys should keep your eyes open. I'm personally hoping for a CW Anakin without that dumb headset.

Haven't spotted the Landing Craft anywhere yet.

It's at the LDC Melbourne and LCS Dreamworld, and on shop@home too.

As for general retail - nothing. I contacted LEGO about this and they are hoping to include it in the Winter (our Summer) wave in early 2019.

I could have sworn I saw it at a Target here in the US. It doesn’t interest me much because there aren’t any really nice new minifigs and the price is too steep to make it worth it but if it was cheaper I would probably pick it up because the design is very nice

I find it easier to get it s@h, don't miss out that way...

I always think of the rebels sets, last years freemakers sets where people missed out here in Australia.

Interestingly the X-Wing isn’t available on Big W Australia to order online ): Anyone know what’s up with that? It’s sooo cheap but apparently the whole country is out of stock.

Sold out on day 1 from what I hear. I know all the k-marts and targets near me are either sold out or low on stock as well.

I guess I'm just one of the lucky few who managed to order it online then.

I saw one at a local Target but it was $130. F that lol I wanna pay $95

Try Kmart, they usually have the lowest price out of Target and BigW, although I don't think you'll be able to get it for 95, more like 110.

Just out of curiosity, but where in Australia do you live?

Wow, so many Aussies in here all at once! Love it!

To all you Aussies: as someone relatively new to Lego, do you think the x-wing will go much lower than that sale price of $95 over the course of its shelf life? How regularly do Big W/Target discount more than 20%? Ideally I'd like to pick it up for around $80, but I would still pay $95 if that was the lowest it'd go.

Speaking of the new X-wing...

Just watched the 75218 set review from JANGBRiCKS and I was curious if anyone else noticed that this is the first LEGO X-wing version that actually has engines in correct proportion.

Try this: Observe the images of the 75218 set, taking care to notice how well-proportioned the model is, then flash over to images of the 10240 set and look at the engines.  The same parts are used for the engine intakes on both models.  This made the 10240 look ridiculous, but makes the 75218 model look fantastic!  The right part, the wrong model.  This bugged me so much that I had to mod the 10240 engines right out of the box.  THANK YOU LEGO for finally getting rid of the ubiquitous 3-wide engine piece on a system scale X-wing!  FINALLY!!:head_back:  Perhaps revisit the engine design for the next 'UCS' X-wing?

I’m in Melbourne. I don’t really wanna go to Kmart, since Big-W is actually the cheapest here. I don’t think starfighters are worth more than $100 so really it’s either from Big-W or nowhere.

I’m an Aussie as well! And I certainly can tell you the sale at big W over the last week had some pretty good deals. Mainly the sand crawler being an absolute steal

Nah all the stores that sell it for RRP (ie like 20% higher than what its worth) still have stock, lol.

nah 20% off at Big W is pretty much the lowest anything ever gets, since Big W's prices are already a good bit lower than RRP. Sometimes buy-1-get-1-50%-off sales that Myer (and formerly TRU, not that that matters now) offers can bring sets lower, but it depends on how close to RRP Big W charges for it. There are a few special exceptions, like Target's put the 60s Batcave and Assault on Hoth at 50% off a few times, and Dimensions sets being on perpetual clearance, but most sets never see that sort of discount. I recommend following the blog Bricking Around, which keeps track of all Lego sales in Australia.

They have Christmas sale, and mid year sale, I don't know about any other, you'll just have to keep notifications on so you don't miss out again

And I don't think they'd be doing more than 20% even at clearance because they still need to make money

Hi, sorry, I've been away for the last month and can't be bothered reading the whole thread so what's rumoured about UCS Cloud City (eg - what's the rumoured release date, what's the rumoured price)?

I believe the only specifics is that it will likely be the 13th September early VIP release.
