.. Like others have mentioned, I didn't see any sign of the FO Heavy Scout Walker, so I guess that it ended up on the cutting-room floor....

I can confirm it does appear in the artbook for TLJ, so at least we have some proof. It is also mentioned in the visual dictionary so even though it did not appear in the movie it is probaly still a canon vehicle.

There is something that looks closely to that walker.

And art. (On the background)

Seeing as the walker is still canon, it could possibly appear in episode 9. I don’t think it will, but it would make the set feel less redundant than now which would be nice.

So...75201 AT-ST...I have just seen in my local toy store in the UK. They must have priced it wrong. It was labelled as £54.99. That is filthily expensive. Must be a mistake?! RRP is $39.99 right?

Dunno what toy store you saw it in but this wave is very expensive for the UK in general. Mos eisley cantina is £45 (40$ in the US for 380 something pieces) and the sandspeeder is £35 ($30 USD for 250 something pieces). Shame too because we have some good sets this year. Your best sets with value are the microfighters and the battlepacks.

I tried to bring this topic up earlier but I guess not many people are really as concerned as I am about this year's price hike

I've said this in the past a few times, but this has got to be a new record. That is crazily prohibitively expensive. I was going to buy it for £40, and conceded that it was overpriced at that....

I for one am definitely concerned and also pity kids because most can't possibly afford to get much with the prices the way they are. However, I was under the impression that discussing prices in depths was frowned upon.

I seem to recall there was a thread created a while back specifically for bitching about pricing to keep the rumour & discussion threads free of these types of discussion.

Since it's not even listed on Lego's UK site yet I'd wager that this is speculation on the part of your local retailer.

Jang reviewed the first order ''''''''AT-ST''''''''''''''', and the closest I remember him being that pissed off about a set has to be from like 2012 reviewing a homing spider droid that wouldn't stand straight.

He really tore the set a new $#@ &?%, and honestly it fully deserves it.

This year seems to have a lot of good sets at bad prices or a lot of bad sets at terrible prices. I do want to see if sales are affected this year and If Lego will eventually rethink their strategy

I think their strategy is that they want more people to buy bootleg lego.

Just saw that review of the at-st by jangbricks, and although i find it funny that lego gives us a broken ship, it is a bad set. The elevator looks nice though, and pretty useful for rebel or empire workplaces, but the walker is really poor. The articulation is also really bad. I think that kids will love it though. Phasma and bb-8 riding a walker.

Don't have much interest in the latest wave of sets to be honest.  My feelings on them are:

Ahch-to: Probably the only set I'm interested in getting, the build isn't too bad, the hut looks nice enough.  But the biggest draw to this set for me is the Luke mini fig (and of course the porg).  So yeah probably for me the most appealing set in this wave,

Defense of Crait: hmmmmmmmmmm I like the speeder, I would totally buy that vehicle on its own and feel 45 pounds for it would be OK.  But the rest of the contents just don't appeal to me at all and with a 75 pound price point, no thanks!  I might buy it if/when its heavily discounted at some point.

Mos Eisley Cantina: I have the last one and its 10 times better than this.  SO yeah have no interest in this whatsoever, other than the Wuher bartender figure.  But i'm not going to spend 45 pounds on just getting this set for him.  I'll probably end up getting him on bricklink and will take a hard pass on this set.

Heavy Scout Walker: Think this was part of the last wave, but anyway.  Didn't like the look of it when I first seen the LEGO model, thought maybe if I seen it in the movie I might change my opinion.......... but yeah obviously not.  So yeah this is an awful looking set to me, looks very confused and at 50 pounds! yeah NO THANKS.

AT ST - hmm what is this?  I got a complete AT-ST a few months ago, why do I want an incomplete one..... no thanks.

Tatoonie battle pack - nothing your going to buy a bulk off, but it looks nice. I have the Sandcrawler so feel a few more minifgs for that scene would be good.  And I like the mini vehicle build in this pack also.

First Order specialist battle pack - really like the executioner troopers, other two minifigs are meh.  but yeah will be buying a couple of these packs just for the two troopers.

So yeah, for me this is a bad wave, my wallet is very thankful that LEGO decided to punch it in for this wave (guessing most of these sets where designed/decided on a Friday afternoon).  Think Ahch-to is the only set I shall be getting, perhaps the Defense of Crait when its heavily discounted just for the speeder, oh and the two battle packs.

there's a leaked pic of LEGO Thandie Newton's character from the Solo movie on Reddit.

First Solo leak!

Wow, she looks fantastic!! How incredible to see actual real Lego of the next Star Wars film coming out.

Description: the legs are black, the torso mustard color and typically hyper-sexualized, some sort of close fitting uniform with a rectangular flap draped below the chin. Dotted lines up the sides of the torso. The face and hairpiece look like a dead ringer for Patti (2016 Lady Ghostbusters) except this one has dark lipstick.

Any hints about which subreddit?

What does this mean? That the torso print depicts a female anatomy?

Try the page that is rebellious and scummy.

Yep. In that exaggerated way that suggests she is very female in the anatomy category.

The leak also on the Subreddit that is leaky in a particularly Star Wars way.

it is identical to the previous one. and all it takes is flipping one technic beam and you now have full articulation in both directions.

i can't remember where i originally saw it, but there is an 'L' shaped technic beam, and if you flip it over, it allows the full articulation.  if assembling per instructions, the short end of the 'L' hits the leg and impedes the forward articulation.

lemme search around a bit ... worst case, i'll email you the pictures of my RO at-st with the mod ... it is so easy to do ...

Yeah, he nailed them for it. Not sure if it's LEGO or Disney that is truly to blame, but everything about the situation is rotten.

Not sure, but the poster on the subreddit said it was from Solo.
